Have a meeting with Portuguese culture, contacting with very unique cultural values - fado, Portuguese traditional stringed instruments, wine - deeply related with the history of Portugal.
The one hour-long concert starts with the emotional voice of our leading female singer, followed by the rich sounds of the Portuguese guitar and the viola de fado (guitar). On the pause, it will be served a reserve port wine from a Portuguese family-owned company of Douro Valley.

The ‘Fado by Casa da Guitarra’ initiative aims to bestow upon you the crux of this musical genre, ensuring an evening full of charm and awe. In a one-hour concert, you will experience distinctive aspects of Portuguese culture - Fado, traditional Portuguese string instruments, and Port wine - all of which are deeply tied to Portuguese history.
The Fado performance transpires in an intimate setting, generally with one or two singers, accompanied by a Portuguese guitarist and fado guitarists. A traditional Port wine will be served during the break to complement the evening, along with an illustrated postcard that offers some insight into the essence of Fado.
