A group of professional Fado artists, dedicated to Traditional Fado (regarded as the most authentic branch of Fado), invite you to experience this genuine style that embodies the true essence and authenticity of the genre.

Prior to the performance, you’ll have the chance to engage in discussions with the musicians, who will guide you through the diverse styles typically performed at Fado concerts, using musical examples, and highlight the reason behind the traditional style being hailed as the most artistically valuable.

You will be treated to a glass of Port wine before the concert commences.

At this performance, you can expect pure, undiluted Fado, untainted by mainstream playlists or other genres like Lisbon Marches or Folk Music, commonly mistaken as Fado for its commercial appeal. This is the only concert in Porto committed solely to authentic and artistic Fado.

The atmosphere is one of respectful silence during the concert.

The music will be delivered by a typical trio composed of a Fadista (Fado singer), a classical guitar player, and a Portuguese guitar player.

Each concert will feature performances by two fado singers: one male, and one female.

The concert will include 12 Fados and 2 instrumental songs.
