Fun Tour to Taste Local Wine - It was a great tour. Sara was a magnificent guide and very knowledgeable. I travelled with my mom, who gets car sick, found the Douro Valley too windy and she turned green. Just a warning for other travellers. The wineries (2) were great and we got a lovely feel of local wineries. I recommend it.

Douro Wine Tour - Our tour guide Sara was wonderful and had a wonderful personality that made learning about the Douro area all the better. I went with my girlfriend and Sara was able to help facilitate groups to engage with one another which made the activities so much fun!

Our guide was Paulo.... - Our guide was Paulo. While the tour says it is a Porto City Tour- I think that can easily be done without a tour and is walkable. Paulo was great. He drove us to the mouth of the river Douro (Foz do Douro), all the way to Matosinhos- things we could only do on a car. It was a spectacular drive. We then went to Gaia, had lunch, went on a cruise and enjoyed wine tasting. My family enjoyed the fact that it was in a car- and we did not have to walk much under the sun.

A Great Orientation to Porto - Paulo was a fantastic guide. A wealth of information about Porto and the region. If you haven’t been to Porto before I highly recommend doing this tour early in your trip. You’ll have a much better understanding of the city’s layout and where key attractions are located in relationship to each other.

Great guide, average restaurant. - Our guide Maria was great. I would not recommend the restaurant we went to however (meh) or the Duoro “river” boat ride. It was basically a tour of the bridges. If you want to see great scenery, book a boat tour of the Douro “Valley” instead.

1st time in Porto - I picked this tour because it had alittle of everything, guided tour, food, boat cruise and wine tasting. However, we were disappointed on the guided tour portion thru Porto. The guides (Paolo and driver) were very friendly and knowledgeable about Porto, but it was more of pointing out a few buildings and not really going into some of the most popular sites. They drove us around to areas outside of old Town, which was nice but I had hoped to go into some of the popular sites such as the famous train station. We enjoyed the restaurant and food was delicious, the port wine tasting was wonderful and the boat cruise was a beautiful way to see Porto. The issue I had with the city tour was not the guides but the not having the opportunity to see inside the free sites.
