• Sao Bento Railway Station - The cornerstone was unveiled in 1900 by King Carlos I on the site of the former convent S. Bento de Avé Maria (Saint Benedict of Hail Mary). The initial design was crafted by architect Marques da Silva, with its exterior lines reflecting the French influences of that era.
• Cafe Majestic - On December 17, 1921, a venue named Elite Café opened its doors in Porto. It was situated on Santa Catarina Street, a pedestrian shopping area frequented by the elite of society, both past and present. The café illuminated the street with its Art Nouveau design, created by architect João Queiroz.
• Torre dos Clerigos - The Church of Clérigos (Ecclesiastics) is a true Baroque masterpiece from the mid-18th century. It was designed by Nicolau Nasoni, an architect of Italian descent, who left his mark on numerous monuments in Oporto and northern Portugal. At his request, Nasoni was laid to rest here in a small chapel, with its entrance at the same level as the top of the double bolster stairway.

The journey begins with a walking tour through Porto’s historic center, starting at the magnificent Avenida dos Aliados and the renowned Clérigos Tower. Explore unique locations such as the ornately decorated McDonald’s and São Bento Train Station, where the historic tile panels will be introduced.

Next, the tour proceeds to the Cathedral of Sé (external visit) for breathtaking panoramic views, followed by a visit to the Fernandina Wall. At Batalha Square, a comfortable bus will take participants to Vila Nova de Gaia for a traditional Port wine cellar tour, where the production process will be explained, and a tasting of three wine varieties will be offered.

The tour concludes in the heart of Porto’s city center.
