It was situated on Santa Catarina Street, a pedestrian shopping area frequented by the elite of society, both past and present. The cafĂ© illuminated the street with its Art Nouveau design, created by architect JoĂ£o Queiroz.
- Torre dos Clerigos - The Church of Clérigos (Ecclesiastics) is a true Baroque masterpiece from the mid-18th century. It was designed by Nicolau Nasoni, an architect of Italian descent, who left his mark on numerous monuments in Oporto and northern Portugal. At his request, Nasoni was laid to rest here in a small chapel, with its entrance at the same level as the top of the double bolster stairway.

Next, the tour proceeds to the Cathedral of SĂ© (external visit) for breathtaking panoramic views, followed by a visit to the Fernandina Wall. At Batalha Square, a comfortable bus will take participants to Vila Nova de Gaia for a traditional Port wine cellar tour, where the production process will be explained, and a tasting of three wine varieties will be offered.
