Miguel s a very good guide. - While it is a long drive from Porto to Santiago, the time passed quickly with a rest/breakfast stop. The cathedral was over the top stunning and we opted for the tapas lunch which was 4 course and filling. On the way back we stopped at the Valencia Fortress which was a nice walled city. The stop could have been longer. Overall a well worth tour in a van with 6 tourers.

I found the cathedral very beautiful, it was an amazing experience to get to see it, I would like to come back - Very good attention from the guide Miguel , he attended me especially given that he had an injury in my knee, helping me at all times, his dimpatia and good humor made the journey very pleasant and his knowledge illustrated me about places totally unknown to me

Amazing Tour with Miguel and Marlon! - Our guide, Miguel, was very informative and provided us with a lot of background history! Tour wasn't boring as he made it interesting and fun. We went to Santiago de Compostela and Valença. Had an amazing lunch as well with our group. Of course, kudos to Marlon our driver for driving us around. This trip was long so thank you!!! And thank you Miguel for making this trip fun!

Excellent - Miguel and Marlon did a great job keeping us informed the whole ride. I think Valenca was ok no big deal. I think Valenca should be removed and add the time to Santiago . Overall Miguel and Marlon were excellent. The restaurant was excellent. Miguel told us what to visit.

Amazing day at Santiago Compostela - We had an Amazing day to Santiago de Compostela and Valenca Portugal. The bus is comfortable the driver was very good. The tour guy Miguel was very nice , he spoke in English and Spanish , it was convenient because my mom speak only Spanish . Santiago is a beautiful town . The cathedral is impressive. We didn’t go to the mass , we did a wrong choice . Another lady went and she was lucky to see the botafumeiro!!! . The lunch at the restaurant Cotolay was delicious . Jardín de Santa Susana very good to take a picture of the cathedral from another angle. The only negative comment is that Valenca is not worth it. Nothing special to see is an old town and the textil area is nothing compared to other places . Maybe the time in Valenca could be for Santiago . Thank you .

Santiago di Compostela and Valença tour. - The trip was much more than I had hoped for. Mass at Santiago de Compostela was beautiful and deeply moving. The town itself is enchanting and our guide Miguel had many interesting facts and anecdotes. Valença is lovely with its great shopping and cafés. Driver Marlon was very professional and gave us a smooth ride. It was a wonderful and memorable day.

Long Road to Santiago - Although the trip was ok, and Mario and the driver did their best, it's a long trip for very little to see. They weather didn't help, but that wasn't a big deal. One adjusts. However, Santiago de Compostela is a little town and one can virtually walk it in about 1 hour. The cathedral is worth visiting and it literally takes 20 minutes to cover it albeit if the line to get in is a short one. The stop at Valença do Minho was 30 minutes long to see the fort, which is also nice, but not a big deal unless you wish to buy lots of towels and sheets. Arguably, one could not find more stores that sell that stuff anywhere else on the planet. In essence, a nice tour, but not enough to see to justify it from Porto. Perhaps from somewhere closer (no more than 1 hour drive) it would be a better choice.

This tour 90%... - This tour 90% transportation and 10% pertinent information. Our guide Mario talked a lot but very little about the Camino or the Church. Once in Santiago he led us to the church and told us to meet back there in 3hrs. No info on how to get into the church, washrooms, dining options, other places of interest. Valença is just a shopping stop for textiles. And again very little info on the fortress. The driver, Ferro, was often in deep conversation with the guide and constantly fully turned his head to face Mario. Not reassuring. The bus was fine.
