Lucille was a wonderful tour guide. - It was a wonderful tour back into the times of Napoleon. Beautiful views of the walls, the towers and the coastline.

a somewhat forgotten corner - beautiful old town, with nice shops around the harbour; on the hill there are two forts to visit, including Forte Falcone, which is certainly worth the climb; You can also visit Napoleon's residence for a fee (25+ is 6 euros; 18-25 is 3 euros); definitely worth it for those who know the history (escape route is incredible)

Portoferraio, pearl of Elba - Portoferraio is worth a visit if you are on the island of Elba, it is a very characteristic country. Its white beaches give a unique experience, crystal clear water, fish swimming to shore, with mask and snorkel you will feel like swimming in an aquarium. Also worth visiting is Napoleon's residence, Villa dei Mulini, from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea. The only flaw is the parking, all for a fee.
