City tour for a good cause - We were lucky enough to get a "private" tour at Steve (Portsmouth ofthepast) as there was little going on during the week. Steve is a very lovable person who has lived in Portsmouth for many years and likes to show his love for the city to every visitor. The tour took us from the port, to the old town, where there was a lot of information, ancient wisdom and stories about the city. A big thank you to Steve for the great tour, this beautiful city.

Highly recommend - My partner and I would highly recommend the tour with Steve. The weather was a bit unpredictable but Steve worked around it, finding a pub whilst it rained and going through the history of Portsmouth with photos. When it stopped raining, he took us on the tour, his knowledge is endless and he shows you sides of Portsmouth you wouldn’t normally explore. Highly recommended if you’re looking to get a rounded knowledge of the city. Steve is friendly and truly could answer any question!

Highly recommended if visiting Portsmouth - A really wonderful walking tour of Old Portsmouth - Steve has many tales to tell and you will learn lots about the area and maybe even smell a ghost or two. I took this tour with my 13 year old daughter - she also enjoyed the tour as Steve was so animated. Highly recommended.

Fun, informative walking tour - We really enjoyed our walking tour with Steve around historic old Portsmouth. He brought the past to life with many interesting anecdotes and his tour was full of old photos and drawings to help us imagine how life was in the past. Steve was very personable and made us feel at ease in the very small group. I particularly like how he donated most of the gratuities to charity. I can highly recommend this tour.

Super way to learn about the past in Portsmouth. - Excellent walk around old Portsmouth, Steve is very knowledgeable and has researched the area very well. He gave us a lot of information but made it very interesting and told some very funny tales. He does it for free with any donations going to cancer research so please support him and have an enjoyable time in doing so.
