- Quarantine Station - The Quarantine Station was utilized during the Gold Rush to slow and restrict ill visitors from reaching Melbourne. Explore the old hospitals where travelers were required to quarantine after their long ocean journey to Victoria. The surrounding buildings served various purposes during and after this period, making it a worthwhile visit.
- Point Nepean National Park - Continue your journey up to Fort Nepean on Coles Track, following the stunning coastline. Keep an eye out for echidnas along the way. The first stop should be Observatory Point, which overlooks the Dolphin Sanctuary; if you’re lucky, you might spot a pod.
Proceed to the farthest point of the National Park, making stops at other popular landmarks along the way, including Harold Holt’s Memorial and Eagles Nest Fort.
