The thing is it wouldn’t be the same as having all the knowledge of your local expert tour guide for culture and wine, in a personal experience. Passing incredible landscapes on the way to the Douro Valley wine region, you will be entertained with amazing details about the area, the culture and of course, Port and Douro wines.

Fantastic wine-filled day - Jean was our guide for our lovely day in the Douro Valley. He was very knowledgeable and kind, and the tour itself was phenomenal! Lots of wine and good food, I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Great value for money, amazing experience - Overall, amazing value for money. We started with a boat trip, then had our first Port wine tasting session with stunning views and all finished with lunch and more wine. Lunch was very generous in terms of food. Sandra was a great guide, enjoyed this SO much!

Douro valley small group day trip - Wonderful experience! We had an amazing experience with Sarah as our guide. Our 1st stop was a beautiful Quinta with the most spectacular view and wine. 2nd we took a boat ride down the Douro River. And 3rd we had an amazing lunch with more port wine and an opportunity to see how they opened a Vintage Port with hot tongs, and of course, the tasting of the vintage port itself. I absolutely enjoyed the fact that this particular tour only deals with small groups of six and eight. The attention that the God is able to give us his phenomenal.

Fantastic day in the Douro Valley. - Jean was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of the region and its history is expansive. He is very personable and made the day thoroughly enjoyable. In addition to the sights we tasted some great port wine and had a great lunch!

Douro Valley with Marcelo - Such a fun day spent with our freelancer Marcelo and a group of great people! Marcelo was very knowledgeable on the Douro Valley and provided us safe transportation from Porto. The Valley was beautiful and learning about/tasting the port wine was a new experience. Would recommend for everyone’s first time in Porto!

Good but too long - The river tour and first winery was the best. After that it was a lot of time in a car. I would suggest you find a 1/2 day tour - 9 hours was too much.
