The journey then takes you down to Ribeiro Frio, home to a trout nursery that releases the fish into the stream.
Next, you’ll visit the heart of Santana to see the distinct thatched-roof triangular houses, followed by a pause in Faial. On the return trip to Funchal, there will be two additional stops: the lookout point at Ponta de São Lourenço and Machico.
