The location of our activity is arguably the prettiest spot in Portimão – the entrance to the Arade River is facilitated by two extensive jetties, offering safety and enjoyment when paddling along the waterway.

We kick off from Marina Portimão Beach, renowned for its popular club ‘Nosolo Aqua’. From there, we take off to the opposite bank of the river, to Praia Grande in Ferragudo. Here, there’s time for reprieve as we take in the stunning views of Castelo de S. João, an 18th-century fortification.

Following this, we negotiate our way back across the watercourse, pointing towards the entrance for Marina boats, before finally returning to the marina beach, navigating past the marina pier.
