- Positano - It is considered to be the pearl of the divine coast for its vertical architecture developed on the slopes of a steep cliff overlooking a magnificent emerald colour sea.
Steps and steps everywhere round the small centre full of colourful shops selling all the most different local products: clothes, ceramics and the delicious local cakes. Its parish church dominates the whole village with a magnificent majolica tiles paved dome. The drive starts with the most impressive view over the Bay of Salerno, the winding road is full of delightful corners for photo stops and charming outlook over the most splendid emerald coloured sea.
Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone. Its houses climb a hill so steep it would be a cliff except that stairs are cut in it. I believe that whereas most house foundations are vertical, in Positano they are horizontal.

Beautiful Amalfi, Wonderful Driver - What an amazing day trip we had with Sorrento Silver Star Tours. A beautiful stop in Positano a drive through Amalfi and a stop at Ravello. Our day was enhanced by our amazing driver Elio who was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He recommended places to eat (the best pasta we had in Italy) and see and was wonderful with our children, even ensuring he had a car seat for our 2 year old.
We cannot thank Elio enough for this experience.
We even booked him again 2 days later!

An amazing Amalfi coast tour!! - We reached out Luisa last minute to arrange a Positano/Amalfi/ Ravelli all day tour during our visit, and she was extremely accommodating. Rosario was our driver. We had a such a wonderful tour with a perfect guide! He took us to all the scenic photo spots, and town centers. Gave us great recommendations for local stuff to try. Memory of this day will always stay with us with Italian hospitality. Until next time!

Amalfi Tour with Elio - Elio was fantastic! He was easy going, funny and we felt very safe driving with him. He was informative about the area and he had many great suggestions at each of our stops of what to do and where to eat. He even walked us directly to our restaurant for lunch and gave us some history about it. We felt very comfortable with him and he also engaged with our kids. He felt like a part of the family and it never once felt awkward. It felt like we've known him our whole lives. Our day flew by and we really enjoyed our time with him. We hope our paths cross with Elio again someday. Thank you Elio for making one of our first experiences in Italy one to remember. Can't say enough good things about him and we highly recommend him.

Private Car Tour of the Amalfi Coast - I can only give 5 star rating here due to website limitations but if I could I would give it 10 stars. We spent the day with our driver Elliott. His professionalism and care is second to none! He guided us to the best places and his local knowledge was amazing. He accommodated our every request and his thoughtfulness is unmatched. Have him take you to Rivello to see Neta! You won’t be disappointed!

Sorrento Silver Star and Louisa - We had two good drivers from this company. Vincenzo picked us up at the airport and took us right to the Sorrento Hilton Palace.
Then Elliott picked us up at the hotel and gave us e us a fabulous tour for 8 hours and was so kind and knowledgeable. He was so concerned about my husband who was not feeling the best with the heat. We could not ask for better.
Be sure you ask for him!!
Louisa was so accommodating and helpful. We appreciated all her help.

Day-long tour with Elio - Elio picked me and my mother up in Maiori this morning and took us to Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello. He also showed us a variety of small towns and beaches in between. He was so kind, funny and knowledgeable about the entire Amalfi coast. He also gave wonderful recommendations for things to do in each town and was overall an absolute joy to spend time with while we got to explore the coast. The day was wonderful and we would highly recommend both the tour and Elio as a guide.

Reliable, convenient, great pricing, great drivers and service - Using Sorrento Silver Star and their drivers has made our trip to Italy stress free. Luisa makes it easy to communicate with back and forth with messaging and finalizes the details before each trip. She is very responsive and attentive. We have had great drivers so far and booked a couple more private transportations with them which has made longer trips (Naples to Sorrento, Sorrento to Amalfi and Sorrento to Rome) comfortable and convenient. Elio, our driver for the Amalfi coast had a great sense of humor (his humor is infectious) and made the 8 hour day amazing! He suggested so many great things along the way and stopped at a restaurant for lunch that was off the beaten path and delicious! Elio even safely returned my phone which I accidentally left in the van. I would highly recommend Elio and using Sorrento Silver Star for any of your transportation needs. Very professional, attentive and engaging drivers. We will be using them again!

Great day along the Amalfi Coast! - Elio was a fabulous driver/tour guide. We so enjoyed our day, driving along the Amalfi Coast. Elio spent time telling us about the area and stopping at key spots. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the most scenic restaurant in the Milky Mountains. The food was delicious! It was a great day thanks to Elio. I would highly recommend our new friend!

Amazing driver Elio - Absolutely amazing the whole experience we breathtaking. The driver we had was Elio and he was so great I can’t even put into words. He told us information about all the little towns we passed while being with him. He was so brilliant. Will defo book him again if we ever come back to sorrento.

Sorrento Silverstar Amalfi Private Tour - From the time I first emailed about possible tours, communication was great from Luisa. We got off our cruise ship and was warmly greeted by our driver Francesco. We discussed several options of what we could fit into our day and the whole lot was just great! Friendly and informative, stopping for plenty of photos. I would highly recommend Sorrento Silverstar if you are wanting a personalised day not on a bus with the crowds!!!
