- Positano - It is considered to be the pearl of the divine coast for its vertical architecture developed on the slopes of a steep cliff overlooking a magnificent emerald colour sea.
Steps and steps everywhere round the small centre full of colourful shops selling all the most different local products: clothes, ceramics and the delicious local cakes. Its parish church dominates the whole village with a magnificent majolica tiles paved dome. The drive starts with the most impressive view over the Bay of Salerno, the winding road is full of delightful corners for photo stops and charming outlook over the most splendid emerald coloured sea.
Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone. Its houses climb a hill so steep it would be a cliff except that stairs are cut in it. I believe that whereas most house foundations are vertical, in Positano they are horizontal.

Luisa and Mauro are the best. Highly recommend Sorrento Silver Star Car Service. - Luisa helped me set up transfers to/from Naples/Pompei/Sorrento. I also used her company for a private driving tour of Amalfi Coast. She responded very quickly and provided competitive pricing.
Mauro was our driver for the transfers and private tour and he is hands down the friendliest driver we have ever come across. Mauro was also very patient and informative. He did a great job making sure everything stayed on schedule. The Mercedes van was very spacious and clean.
I highly recommend Sorrento Silver Star for all your transportation and tour needs in the Rome, Naples and Amalfi Coast area.

Fine along the Amalfi Coast - We had the most amazing experience with this company, Louisa was amazing in Scheduling. Roberto was our driver, he was right on time and full of suggestions for places to eat. He also did a nice job sharing information about the Amalfi coast. Highly recommend.

Excellent Overall Experience! - We used Sorrento Silverstar for multiple trips including a transfer from Rome to Pompeii as well as the full day touring the Amalphi coast. Luisa was extremely responsive in coordinating multiple request, had helpful suggestions and overall very easy to work with. Roberto was our driver for all activities and he was excellent. He’s very professional, prompt, communicates well and is overall a very nice gentleman. We saw a lot and had a very smooth experience in Italy in large part because of the great service from Silverstar. Thanks Luisa and Roberto!!

Amazing your service ! On time , reliable and Roberto was the best ! Spoke perfect English and so helpful! - We used this service during our entire stay in the Amalfi coast. Airport transfers, hotel transfers, a tour of Pompeii, Vesuvio and also a day trip down the coast. Amazing in every way! On time, reliable, beautiful Mercedes vans, clean and everyone spoke perfect English . Lucia did our tour of Pompeii and she was so i formative and fun! Francesco was one of the drivers and was so nice and reliable. Roberto took us all the way down the coast, spent 8 hours with us and was so informative, helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Best Way to see Amalfi Coast! - Luisa and her Team were simply amazing. The all-day tour allows you to see Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. There's no better way to get a taste of these beautiful little Italian towns. The cost is extremely reasonable, and I highly recommend using Sorrento Silver Star.

Best decision ever! - Best decision ever! Luisa along with Roberto and Rosario were phenomenal! Very professional, detail oriented, knowledgeable and on point! They gave us a peace of mind. They listened to what we wanted and made sure we were taken care of. Can’t go wrong with this team! Truly made our 30 yr anniversary a memorable celebration! Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Amalfi coast full day tour. - Private car and driver (Missemo) picked us up at hotel in Sorrento and took us to Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and Minore. Told us what to see at each stop and sent us to a great restaurant for lunch in Amalfi and dessert and coffee in fabulous pastry shop in Minore. Some of the most beautiful pastries you will ever see. Tour went an extra hour but guide didn’t mind at all. I suggest the 7:30am pick up like we did to get ahead of the traffic.

You were knowledgeable, a bad ass and safe driver, prompt on time pick up, excellent communication, and knowledgeable on Italian history! We asked a bunch of questions, to which you enthusiastically answered! You stopped when we wanted and the music in the van was on point , (discothequa!!) anyone would only be so Lucky to have you as their guide for the beautiful Amalfi coast tour. This was a very special tour as me and my special Lady Courtney have never been to Italy before and were privileged to have you as our guide. Amalfi Coast day tour with Roberto - The day tour was so awesome to the Amalfi Coast. Roberto was our guide. He was knowledgeable, informative, and a great person. Conversation is not lacking! We laughed the whole day! I contacted Sorrento Silver Star tours through Facebook and spoke with Luisa. She was prompt on responses and answered all of my questions!
I can't recommend them enough!!

Great day on the Amalfi Coast. - We had a wonderful day visiting the Amalfi Coast with Mauro. He took his time explaining the various parts of the coast and gave us time frames on when we had to be back by. I would definitely recommend this tour for future travellers.
