Highlights
- Positano - The starting location for the tour will be Positano*. It will be fascinating to admire Positano from the water while sailing away. There will be a stop to take photos of the vertical town from the boat.
*We also offer a departure from Praiano at La Gavitella Beach or Marina di Praia.
- Praiano - Praiano is a suggestive small town of the Amalfi Coast, which you will see from the boat and it has nice spots to take a swim, such as La Gavitella Beach and the Africana Grotto.
- Marina di Praia Beach - A little fishermen’s village in Praiano
- Fiordo di Furore - The Fjord of Furore is an Unesco World Heritage site, its main features are the majestic cliffs plonging in the crystal clear waters and the impressive overhanging bridge. It is possible to take really suggestive photos in this dazzling location.
- Grotta dello Smeraldo - The enchanting Emerald Grotto is a carsic cave, accessible by a tiny row boat. The entrance ticket can be purchased onsite and it is not included in the tour price. Inside it is possible to admire sparkling, green water, many stalactites and stalagmites and a fascinating Presepe with ceramic statues under the crystal-clear water.

Conca dei Marini - Conca dei Marini is a very nice location to take a swim. Its promontory called Capo di Conca is definitely suggestive.
Here you can admire from the boat the Capo di Conca tower. - Amalfi - Amalfi, the glorious Maritime Republic, is a fascinating town full of history. You can decide to stop for a while and have a walk in the city center or just admire its beautiful landscapes from the boat
- Atrani - The smallest town of the Amalfi Coast is a nice spectacle, not to be missed during a boat tour!
- Positano - After Atrani, you will go back to Positano* and you will have the chance to admire the coastline from a different perspective.
*If you have departed in Praiano, at La Gavitella or Marina di Praia, we will take you back to your starting point.

Additional Information
Departing from Positano or Praiano, you will take a private tour all along the Amalfi Coast. The tour is crafted for a max. of 6 people. The itinerary highlights are the small beaches of La Porta, Arienzo, Laurito in Positano, La Gavitella and Marina di Praia in Praiano. The next stop will be the Fjord of Furore, a World Heritage site that will make you fall in love with its cliffs and the bridge above your head. You will then come across the enchanting Emerald Grotto (the entrance ticket is not included and the visit inside the cave is optional). The excursion will continue passing through Conca dei Marini, the natural Arch, Lido degli artisti and Amalfi till Atrani. Now and then you can swim in the limpid waters near the coast, the Captain will be glad to meet your requests. On board, a wide selection of soft drinks and prosecco are provided to make the tour more enjoyable. On the way back to Positano or Praiano you will have the chance to admire such wonderful places one more time.

Great day on the water - We loved this trip! Riccardo was kind, knowledgeable and made our day one to remember! Highly recommended. We were able to swim in a cave, visit the emerald grotto and see the amazing towns along the Amalfi Coast.

Great day on the water! - We were a group of seven family and friends, booking a private Amalfi Coast tour with Positano boats. Our boat captain, Francesco, was absolutely amazing! A multi-generation resident of Positano, he was very knowledgeable about the coast and its history, and was very flexible in allowing us to customize the trip according to what we wanted to do. In our case, that involved multiple stops along the coast to swim and explore beaches, coves and grottoes. Lunch was at a great restaurant in Praiano (La Gavitella) that served very authentic local cuisine. I would recommend this trip and this company to anyone.

Excellent boat experience - We had an excellent day , Gennaro our captain took us to amazing places to swim , to the Esmerald Grotto , all the Amalfi coast to see the towns from the sea and we had the best lunch at La Gavillota restaurant .

Amazing experience - Absolutely amazing experience with Gennaro! We got two swims and one was in a sea cave. Beautiful Amalfi coast, plenty of beverages and we got fruit as well. Thank you!

Highly recommend Positano boat tours - From booking to the day of the tour the service was top notch. Response speed from the office was timely & clearly communicated. Our 1/2 day tour with Guisseppe was excellent. He was friendly & informative. A great captain. Stopped multiple times so my family could swim. We enjoyed prosecco & soft drinks. Clean towels were provided and the boat was very well maintained. They even helped us secure a car service at the end of the trip.

No words can describe it! - The experience was amazing and the boat was beautiful and good for taking pictures. If you got a group of friends is actually nicer than most boats. The company is fast and tentative and everything went smooth even on a cloudy day! We did not regret it at all and thought it was well worth the price! Big shout out to Yesepe who was our boat captain he was really talented and knowledgeable and also took great pics! Loved how he was getting us as close as possible to the caves even with a lot of waves! Awesome experience highly recommend!

Best experience ever - This was my favorite vaca excursion ever! I booked online about a couple months before our trip and printed a hard copy of the receipt. The company booth was clearly labeled on the Spiaggia Grande (main beach) and the young woman was polite and professional. Everything was on time, but some might have to wait, as you will see several other boat companies waiting their turn. Francesco was our tour guide. He was amazing, friendly and informative along the tour! He pointed out the highlights: Fiordo di Furore, Conca dei Marini, and the Emerald Grotto. You don’t actually go in further to see these but he did give us the option for the grotto. He said the line can be misleading (you have to go further in to pay and wait, sometimes up to an hour). But when you get to the city of Amalfi, he lets you explore for a half hour or so (remember it’s only a half day tour). We bought gelato and my son had time to buy a couple of souvenirs. Francesco stopped a couple of times for us to jump in the beautiful turquoise waters. Drinks and towels were provided as advertised. You won’t regret this, it was worth every penny. Does not recommend - First, no one was at the port station when we arrived. Per the email, we were to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure. Then, after someone arrived after 10-15 minutes, there appeared to be a discrepancy in the booking. The boat was then late 20 minutes picking us up, and we were brought in twenty minutes early. Considering we paid for a full 4 hour tour, $750+, it’s very disappointing for the tour to be 40 minutes short. Our captain was also not great. He was taking personal calls for half of the private boat tour, and the other half talking to us. We just wanted to have a private, quiet boat day, listen to music and swim. Will not utilize in the future.
