Do it!! - Do it…!! This was worth every cent. My boyfriend and I weren’t sure whether to spend the extra money during what was already an amazing stay in Positano, but we are so glad we did. Our hosts were fantastic and made sure we enjoyed every moment. We stopped along the coast at various snorkelling spots, and got to have a walk around Amalfi at lunch. We were lucky enough to finish with homemade limoncello!
Thank you Elisabetta!!

Perfect day on the Amalfi Coast! - Three stops for swimming, short time in Amalfi town, lunch at a restaurant only accessible by boat. So perfect! Amazing talented two-woman team of captain and skipper. Very fun!

We stopped for 1 1/2 hours in Amalfi which was fun. Lunch stop at restaurant on the water was excellent. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend

Picturesque - The views were spectacular and beyond any expectations. Our guide and boat driver were pleasant and knowledgeable. I wish there was a little more explanation of what we were seeing. The boat fit the four total people very well. The tour can host up to 12 people, which I think would be too much for the given boat. They brought us to Amalfi and a restaurant that is only accessible by boat. The water was rough so I would bring Dramamine even if you don’t normally get seasick. Overall, I am glad to have done this tour!

Disappointed - I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews. All in all the day was very nice being out on the water on a warm day. Smaller group, mostly honeymooners. Loved chatting with all the couples, all friendly and we all seemed to get along.
We did not get notified of our meeting point until quite late the day before. I was panicking thinking I missed a message. I had the hotel contact the number provided and I also texted them. They responded and advised meeting point on the dock and sent a photo of who we were looking for. I think this could have been communicated much sooner. They divided us up to go to our respective boats for the day. The boat was spacious and clean. Our captain and mate did not show where things were located or even told us their names. Off we went. Great views as we slowly sailed down the coast. Landmarks were not pointed out to us or discussed what they were. It was a hot day and someone asked if there was water, they showed us a cooler and told us to take whatever we wanted. Nice but could have mentioned that at the start. They had towels for us but we were never offered them . We did dry off in the sun after a swimming stop. Stopped in Amalfi for about 1 1/2 hours. Most had no idea what to do here so we wandered around and shopped. Would have loved the option to stay on board and swim.
Lunch was the bigger issue. They asked us if we wanted to stop at a restaurant only accessible by boat. Since it was the only one offered. We agreed. The restaurant dinghy’s brought us ashore. We saw our check in ladies from our meeting point. Our boat captain and mate (I think they were husband and wife) also came ashore. We ordered off the menu and each person paid their own bill. Lunch was slow. I went to find our captain to advise we were done but they were now where to be found. Nothing had been discussed about how long we would be here. It was 3 hours. Since we didn’t know the captains name or name of our boat, we were stranded there. People reached out to the company to find out how to get back to our boat. Took about 30 minutes before we found this information. Finally the dinghy was able to take out back to our boat. No of us were very happy about this huge delay. A storm was coming in, getting rough. Back on board we motored more quickly back. There was one more swimming spot but most of us were discouraged with the lunch situation and the weather so choose to stay on board. The captain asked if we wanted to swim or head back. I chose this trip for the multiple swim spots so another disappointment with only actually swimming once.
I think the tour would be a good one. We just drew the short straw with a bad captain and mate. Need better communication and clear instructions regarding lunch and the stop in Amalfi. Too much time in Almalfi .

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - This was, without question, the worst boat experience of my life. The entire trip was a disaster, with everyone on board struggling with severe seasickness. The boat company should never have taken us out in such dangerous conditions—it was completely reckless to navigate so close to the coast with waves that rough.
We were briefly stopped for a swim break, but only 4 out of 15 people got in the water. We jumped in just to escape the relentless rocking of the boat, but the waves were so intense that we genuinely feared for our safety. It was an unsafe and terrifying experience.
The trip was supposed to be a 7-hour boat excursion, but in reality, we spent just about an hour on the boat. The water was so choppy that we were forced to spend more than 4 hours docked in Amalfi, followed by a stop at a tiny seaside restaurant that only served fish—the last thing anyone wanted while nauseous.
To make matters worse, we had to use a tiny, unstable dinghy to get from the boat to the restaurant, which was terrifying in the rough waves. Boarding and disembarking the dinghy felt dangerous and nerve-wracking. If I wanted to spend my day on land, I would’ve booked a car, not a boat trip.
There’s a reason they don’t show the actual boat in the listing photos—you have no idea what you’re getting. Ours was far too small for the size of our group, and we were all crammed in uncomfortably. Worse, when we contacted Viator for a refund, they refused, claiming the tour “went as planned.” If this is their idea of a “planned” experience, avoid this tour at all costs! To top it off, we were double-charged for the excursion—once through Viator and once by the boat company. Viator’s customer service was no help and just told us to contact our bank. This feels like a scam, and I’m concerned about the security of my information with Viator.
This entire trip was a nightmare from start to finish. I can’t stress this enough—DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!
