Ravello - The Duomo di Ravello (Cathedral of Ravello): the central nave contains the “Pulpit of the Gospels”, on the right of the central nave, created in 1272 by Nicolò di Bartolomeo from Foggia.
Villa Rufolo (1270), built by Nicola Rufolo, one of the richest Patricians of Ravello, on a ledge and it has become a famous attraction for thousands of visitors. The villa was mentioned by Giovanni Boccaccio in his Decameron and it is the place where Richard Wagner in 1880 was inspired for the stage design of his opera Parsifal.
Villa Cimbrone, known for its “Terrace of the Infinite”. - Amalfi - At the top of a flight of steps, Saint Andrew’s Cathedral (Duomo) overlooks the Piazza Duomo, the heart of Amalfi. The cathedral dates back to the 11th century; its interior is adorned in the late Baroque style with a nave and two aisles divided by 20 columns. The façade of the cathedral is Byzantine in style and is adorned with various paintings of saints, including a large fresco of Saint Andrew.
- Grotta dello Smeraldo - The cave owes its name due to the emerald light that reverberates in it: an underwater fissure allows sunlight to filter through. The grotto, located at the Amalfi Coast, is partly filled with sea water. The surface area of the water measures roughly 45 × 32 metres, with a cavern roof about 24 metres above water level. Formation of cave was caused by bradyseism (tectonic upheaval of cliffs): cliffs fractured, and the cave was formed along the fissures. Now the cave has descended, and sea water had entered it, partly flooding the stalagmites in it.

The best way to get to know the Amalfi Coast - We highly recommend Umberto, plus a great guide, super friendly and friendly. We did with him transfers and a tour of the Amalfi Coast and it was a delight.

Amalfi coast - Umberto and Antonio were our best private tour guides and drivers in all of Italy. They made the trip around Amalfi coast fabulous. Perfectly on time, lots of facts re towns of sorrento , positano and helped my elderly mom and young kids too. We wanted to swim and play tennis and this was arranged nicely too. Highly reccomend !!.

Visit the Amalfi Coast, in an impeccable vehicle with very good explanations - Umberto was the best guide! It gave us a very complete tour of the coast, with explanations of each place, key stops and free time to enjoy! We are very grateful

Our new friend! - We booked the private Positano/Amalfi/Ravello tour with Umberto and had an amazing time! I went with my 3 daughters and Umberto was very professional, respectful and a lot fun. During the tour he gave us so much history on all the cities we drove through and visited which made the tour so much more interesting. Umberto also gave us great tips on where to eat like the locals and the best pastry shops! He scheduled our tour perfectly in order to miss the tourist peak times!
We also booked Umberto for our drive from Sorrento to Rome with a stop in our home town to visit family. We had scheduled a 2 hour stop to visit family however it was longer than expected and Umberto was very patient and accommodating. He became part of our family and joined us during our visit. Our drive to Rome was fun and full of laughter! Umberto gave us great tips for Rome as well.
We gained a great friend from Sorrento and would definitely recommend Umberto to friends and family. We will definitely use Umberto again on our next visit!

Great Amalfi coast tour with Umberto! Also had transfer to and from Naples train station to our Airbnb with Umberto - Loved our tour with Umberto. He was very professional, courteous, respectful and very helpful. Lots of great tips for the local areas!

A lovely experience - We had a lovely experience touring the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento with the help of Umberto, our driver and guide. We were very comfortable in the Mercedes van, with excellent views of the coast along the way. Umberto is an excellent and safe driver, speaks English, and provided us with helpful information. We quickly realized the wisdom in his proposed itinerary. His drop-off points for sightseeing made it easy for us, and he provided us with his phone number for communicating our pick-ups. He helped us manage the time well in order to optimize the experience. He was respectful, flexible, and informative. We were well satisfied. Thank you, Umberto, for helping us create a wonderful memory.
