The half-day excursion begins in Trieste, and within 45-50 minutes, the journey reaches the destination in the town of Postojna. The cave tour, featuring a cave train ride and a walk along an easy footpath, lasts for an hour and a half (entry tickets are not included in the price). Each Postojna cave tour is led by professional tour guides who offer commentary in Slovenian, Italian, English, or German. Additionally, audio guides are available in at least 17 languages.

The cave maintains a constant temperature of 10°C throughout the year, so it is advisable to wear warm clothing and sports footwear. After the cave tour concludes, there is up to 30 minutes of free time to grab a quick bite or shop for souvenirs.
