Additional Information

Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring vistas of Prague as you journey to one of the city’s most ancient and romantic landmarks. The Hidden Prague Bike Tour offers you a unique perspective, diverging from the conventional tourist routes. Our route will take us along the scenic Vltava River, affording us glimpses of both ancient and contemporary architecture that Prague is famously dotted with, including landmarks like the renowned ‘Dancing House’.

Throughout the tour, we will delve into Prague’s history, specifically its World War II era. A significant focus will be on the account of Reinhard Heydrich’s assassination, the notorious Nazi leader. We will visit authentic locations featured in the film ‘Anthropoid’.

As we continue our journey, we’ll pause at noteworthy spots that you might ordinarily overlook, such as when we traverse the Nusle bridge which extends over Nusle district.

Our ultimate destination is the enchanting Vyšehrad castle, widely known as the official national cemetery of the Czech Republic since 1869.

Discovering Hidden Gems in Prague by Bike - The Hidden Prague Bike Tour started off with a bit of confusion at the meeting point, as it wasn’t clearly marked, and two groups were departing simultaneously. However, once the tour got underway, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience, definitely worth the money. One of the main advantages of this bike tour over a traditional walking tour is the ability to cover more ground, allowing us to explore lesser-known sites around Prague. A significant portion of the tour focused on World War II history, which was particularly interesting. Highlights included visiting the church where the soldiers who assassinated Hitler’s right-hand man, Reinhard Heydrich, sought refuge. Towards the end of the tour, we took a well-timed break at a riverside spot where we could enjoy a refreshing beer before heading back. While I would have preferred more time riding the bikes and less walking, especially when crossing the bridge, our guide George was knowledgeable and made the experience worthwhile. A great way to see a different side of Prague!

Emma gives a very interesting and fun tour! - Emma was a fantastic Guide who knew how to tell a fascinating story with great knowledge and enthusiasm. A tour with Emma is definitely recommended! One less star because of the Owner. Due to a shortage of Dutch-speaking guides for the highlights tour we had booked, we were almost forced to switch to the English-language hidden tour under the guise of a sad story. Not a pleasant way to communicate.
