Small group Terezin tour. - My husband and I did the day tour with Pavel Batel. His passion for subject was absolute. He provided a fantastic tour with a lot of information. The day flew by. I pull highly recommend this tour to anyone. I believe that we all need to remember history and the atrocities that humans can commit, so we do not repeat.

Great Day! - Although it was a somber day, we really enjoyed our day--especially the small fortress. We were grateful to have a nice, air-conditioned bus to transport us around and someone to handle everything for us. We had considered doing this on our own but were so glad we opted for the tour!

Good Tour - We appreciated the guide letting us know what we were seeing during the bus ride to and from Terezin. The local guide at the prison was very imformative. My reason for not giving five stars is that we had a family member who wasn't 100% that day, the tour would not allow her to stay on the bus during one of the brief stops and insisted she walk, despite her heart giving her issues. We found this to be unhelpful and hurtful. I will use them again, but may ask more questions before booking.

Wonderful historical tour of the Terezín fortresses - Great tour. I have younger school aged kids - would recommend taking older children for a better experience for the littles.

Underwhelming experience - This tour was a bit slow and not as engaging as we expected compared to a Prague walking tour we had done the day before with a fantastic guide. Would avoid this tour with kids because they would likely get bored. Enjoyed learning the history of Terezín, but didn’t find this tour to necessarily be worth it.

Mixed experience - The Tour of the main prison was interesting and the guide was excellent. However felt large chunks were missed and weren’t able to look around further. The trip into Terezin was disappointing you were unable to look around and explore the history of the area instead you go into a Gallery which was a repeat of the Prison and wasted 30 Minutes watching a movie that was a repeat of the Prison tour when could have looked around the area. Would partially recommend but if you want to look at the wider parts suggest this isn’t the best way to visit.

Great place-terrible guide - The place was impactful and the local guide there was very knowledgeable and helpful. However, the guide for this trip was disastrous. She was incredibly confusing, talked about random things, spoke the entire time, even when the group was not with her, what she chose to speak about was typically not what you would expect to be highlighted, and then she would pass by incredible things you would anticipate her to talk about, but she didn’t. Over halfway through our tour, she realized she had left her umbrella somewhere and was going to have the entire group go back to look for it. Instead, a member of our group volunteered to run back and look for it our guide not only allowed this, but continued the tour without the person who went to look for her umbrella. It’s important to note here that it was not raining nor was rain in the forecast, and her umbrella was left on the tour bus the entire time. We left the tour the first opportunity we had. You may also notice I never mentioned the guide’s name this is because she never gave it to us. I would highly recommend you see Terezín, but take a car there on your own so you don’t leave frustrated and confused.

Awful tour. Use another company - When we arrived at the first part of the tour, the guide who supposedly spoke English was difficult to understand and rushed through his presentation avoiding questions. Took me a few minutes to figure out ‘bowel’ was meant to be bowl. When the guide told me to sit in the front seat of the bus because of lack of air conditioning, the bus driver literally yelled at me.

Below Standard Experience that did not meet our Expectations - Helen the guide started off poor and crashed and burned by the end - speaking endlessly until it was torture. Her English was passable at best. The tour sites visited were weak, we didn't really feel like we totally saw Terezinstadt. We could have skipped the esoteric art museum and spent more time in the camp itself. The guide at the Little Fortress was fair, albeit his English was also poor. Helen droned on and on, especially on the ride back, about seemingly anything that came to her head, being unable to discern the wheat from the chaff. Both guides lacked forming a connection with the tourists. I myself am a tour guide in Jerusalem and know a thing or two about methodology. Helen certainly need s a refresher course. Your itinerary also needs improvement.
