Bring hand sanitizer - Our guide did a great job of condensing the tour highlights with delightful tidbits of useful info: all the rubbing of those shiny spots on statues are staphylococcus repositories. Caveat emptor!

A Must do in Prague and easy walk from the centre - Prague Castle is a must see. Buy the tickets on line via the castle website. You can walk around most of the castle for free, but the tickets get you into the pretty amazing places such as the Cathedral, Basilica, Golden Lane and the Old Prague Castle. These are worth it. Do it online as there are huge lines at the wrong time. There is no need to rush, as you can take your time for each part and have lunch or coffee in between at one of the cafes. Depending on your history bias…if you want more, get the audio version as there is little writing in English around the place and where there is it is hard to read on the glass. If you are just happy to enjoy the majesty, don’t bother. Make sure to visit the gardens at the top of the palace and they are free. Also…note that you need another ticket to climb the steeple of the Cathedral. Suggest do earliest tours at 10.30 before the crowds.

Disappointed - The experience was very bad. The tour guide called Peter from Slovakia was keeping us on our feet on the meeting point fro almost 1 hour without moving during a very hot day. I asked him when he intends to move to the castle and he replied to me smiling that it will be in two months.
He mostly spoke about America, the Checz Republic history in general, about the statues from Charles Bridge and a little bit about the castle. I could not stay for too long because I had other activities that I had to attend. By the way the activity was to find out info about the castle nor about USA and the statues from the bridge. He told us we need to walk until we reach the castle and to the Viator operators were told the guide used the bus . Very unprofessional and disappointing from the tour guide and Viator. Me and my mother met this disappointing experience
