Communism froma czech experience - For Americans this is an enlightening exhibit. It covers the pre ww events that led to the adoption of communism. It is a different take on events ( i.e. not from an western Europe or American point of view.

Highly educational! - Our tour guide had grown up under Communism. She told us personal stories about how her family and friends were affected by communism. We walked around Prague saw places significant to the events leading up to the Velvet Revolution: statues, death mask of a student who burned himself in protest, sculptures depicting how living under oppression destroys souls and spirit, brass commemorative plates on sidewalks in front of homes and businesses where a Jews were dragged out and taken to extermination camps. We returned to the Museum of Communism where we continued on our own to learn even more about how the Czech people suffered and gained freedom. This was time VERY well spent, and well worth the price. It should not be missed!

An amazing introduction to history of Prague - Took this tour with Lenka on our first day in Prague. Started off at the museum of communism and then followed by a walking tour around Prague seeing all the important sites of the city. Lenka was a wealth of information and truly gave us an in-depth view of the history of Prague and the Czech Republic. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour! Our... -
Highly recommend this tour! Our guide Lenka was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about Prague and the Communist period. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I thought how could someone so young really know about Communism in Prague? But only after about 5 minutes it became clear that she knew the history. She wove in stories about her family during the time period which really made the tour interesting. Using the Museum of Communism provided excellent context to the tour, and then walking the streets of Prague really brought it all home. I can't say enough about Lenka and this tour. I learned so much!
