Located in Prague, Josefov stands as one of the globe’s most precious Jewish landmarks. Its status qualifies it as one of the most frequented museums across the globe.

The old Jewish Cemetery, dating back to 1439 A.D., presents a serene and sober environment that leaves a lasting impact.

Within the walls of the Pinkas Synagogue, now a memorial to Holocaust victims, you will find the names of Czech and Moravian Jews who were victims of World War II, penned by hand. The upper level houses a profound exhibition of artwork created by children in Terezin.

During the tour, we will be visiting all the synagogues, including the orthodox Old-New Synagogue. As the oldest preserved synagogue in Europe from 1270 A.D., it’s the oldest existing synagogue outside of Israel and continues to function as a prayer house.

An enlightening moving and educational must see experience - Eva was simply amazing. She knew minute details about every synagogue, every cemetery and grave site and the complete history of the Jewish people in Prague for the past 800 years. I was lucky and it was just the two of us. I so enjoyed it, I bought a mezzuzah for her as a gift which she is now Displaying in her home. It was a very personal, moving and educational experience for me. We became friends. It is a MUST tour for those visiting Prague and certainly for those of the Jewish faith. Amazing. Do not miss this!
