Additional Information

Explore Prague like a local with a native guide, Dana, who was born and grew up here. Join this unique 4.5-hour walk which spans not only key landmarks like Prague Castle, Powder Tower and Charles Bridge, but also uncovers hidden gems in the beautiful, lesser-visited areas of downtown Prague. This tour is exclusive to a small group, limited to 4 persons, offering a chance to delve far from the madding crowd and experience the city in a non-conventional manner.

Catering towards sustainable tourism as opposed to mass tourism in Prague, our half-day getaway is a sanctuary from the chaotic tourist places. However, note that this journey is suitable for active adults who have a love for walking and peacefully exploring - this isn’t a ‘flag and microphone’ tour.

The journey includes a cozy coffee break at a café run by proud local residents, striving to offer a personal experience instead of a tourist-oriented business.

  • Tour is not suitable for persons who have difficulty walking longer distances
  • Not recommended for children
  • Not suitable for prams
  • Difficulty: medium, there is one uphill part and also cobble stones in the streets
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended

Fantastic experience - Dana is an outstanding guide and I highly recommend her services! She is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She had a really in depth understanding of Prague, knows all the shortcuts and took me to places I would have never known were there. Many times on our tour there were things I would have walked straight past but Dana stopped us to point out landmarks of significance that I would have otherwise missed. I also love that she knows how to avoid all the usual tourist traps that other tour groups were falling for. Prague has so many layers and it was great to get a small understanding of this with Dana’s help. Hot tip: go and do all the main attractions like the Astronomica Clock and Charles Bridge by yourself so you can use the time with Dana to go deeper into the city.

With this tour, you will know how to make the most of your time in Prague - My wife and I spent six nights in Prague. We did a tour with Dana on the first morning and it made all of the difference in the world! When you walk around Prague, you will see dozens and dozens of tours everywhere with groups of people following a flag or an umbrella. This was the furthest thing from that - much more like walking around with a friend that lives in the city. We had a great time on the tour, but really left with our bearings of the city and a clear direction for making the most of our time in Prague - going back to many of the spots we visited with Dana. We cannot recommend this tour and Dana enough!

A highlight of our trip to Prague - We did the small group (4 people) 4.5 hour walking tour with Dana in June 2024. If I could give it 100 stars out of 5, I would! Dana perfectly paced the tour. She provided lots of information and there wasn’t a question we asked that she couldn’t answer. She was super friendly, helpful and professional. Her love of Prague was so genuine as was her desire for visitors to enjoy her city. Thanks you so much Dana, you made our trip!

The best guide experience ever! - Dana was absolutely amazing, from picking us up at the hotel, having 24 hr tram tickets, to suggesting local restaurants, and reviewing our own Prague itinerary and suggesting minor changes. We spent an amazing day with her walking to several highlights around Prague, and then taking the tram to another locational doing it all over again. Fluent in English, and has some amazing Behind the Scenes insights for our tour.

Spend a day with Dana! - Spent a wonderful day with Dana taking in the highlights of Prague. She's very receptive and planned our tour around the things we wanted to see. As mentioned in another review, she knows all the out of the way spots that aren't crowded. I learned so much from her, she's knowledgeable about Prague and it's history. I would recommend a tour with her to anyone. Thanks Dana!!

An Excellent Tour and Introduction to Praha. - Dana is an amazing and very knowledgable guide who is as personable as her web page. Going in a maximum of 4 is so much nicer than big groups. The tour was wonderful with local content and the interaction with Dana created a very high value day. We recommend her and her tour very highly.

Awesome experience - Fantastic way to spend the day with Dana. She is so friendly and pleasant and is full of all kinds of interesting info on Prague and its history. She took into consideration everyone and explained and answered all questions we had. She showed us all the “not so known untouristy” places which unless you know the city well , you will miss. Had a great time on the tour and would definitely recommend anyone who visits Prague
