Highlights
  • Charles Bridge - ON THIS TOUR: Discover Prague’s enchanting UNESCO site, including its 12th-century hidden underground, and delve into the city’s significant historical events, notable figures, and medieval life. For the first 2 hours, we wander through the streets of Old Town with our knowledgeable guide, followed by a visit inside the Old Town Hall complex, exploring its halls and underground with a specialized guide. This segment lasts about 50 minutes.

Charles Bridge: a historic stone arch bridge spanning the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. Construction began in 1357 under King Charles IV and was completed in the early 15th century.

  • Stare Mesto (Old Town) - Old Town is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, passages, and hidden courtyards. On our unique route, you’ll see both major sights and lesser-known spots!
  • Bethlehem Chapel - Learn about the legendary reformer priest Jan Hus and the connection between modern Czech Republic and religion.
  • Tyn Yard - Ungelt - One of Prague’s most significant historical sites, this block of buildings, likely constructed in the 11th century, was originally a fortified merchants’ yard where customs duties – ungelt – were collected.
  • Josefov - Prague’s old Jewish Quarter - We discuss the difficult history of the local Jewish community and the Holocaust, as well as the “Golem of Prague” legend and more!
  • The Old-New Synagogue - The oldest active synagogue in Europe, located in the heart of Prague’s old Jewish district.
  • Maisel Synagogue - A historical monument of the former Prague Jewish quarter, built at the end of the 16th century, considered the golden age of the ghetto. Its appearance has changed several times, and it currently features a neo-gothic style.
  • Stary zidovsky Hrbitov - The Old Jewish Cemetery in Prague, Czech Republic, is one of the largest of its kind in Europe and one of Prague’s most important Jewish historical monuments. It was in use from the first half of the 15th century until 1786.
  • Staromestske namesti - After navigating the hidden streets, we arrive at Prague’s main historical square (Old Town Square), where we spend some time providing a comprehensive overview.
  • Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock - Established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration, the oldest part of the complex includes the southern wing with a beautiful Gothic tower, a bay chapel, and a unique astronomical clock – the Orloj – where the twelve apostles appear every hour between 9 am and 11 pm. The Gothic Revival eastern wing was destroyed during the Prague Uprising on May 8, 1945, and was never rebuilt. The visitor route includes the chapel, historical halls, underground areas, and the tower.

Excellent tour with Jalhym - Jalhym was super informative and very friendly. He covered the high points and was able to tell us more deeply about things we were interested in. His description of the Atomic clock made it make sense. Its confusing to look at and figure out on your own.
