Thank you for a very... - Thank you for a very interesting and inspiring tour with a lot of hidden gems. We learnt a lot about Prague, its architecture and its history. I strongly recommend a tour with Vadim. We enjoyed a lot his expertise and the way we discovered Prague.

Stellar Tour! Essential for Connecting to the History and Architecture of Prague. - Vadim is amazing. A wealth of knowledge and a genuine interest in the subject. He was able to adapt to our somewhat higher level of background in architecture and urban studies and we had a fascinating conversation as we strolled through some of Prague’s most important environments. We learned a ton and also just had a great time sharing reactions and stories. As we were doing the tour, I saw crowds of tourists walking around and found myself thinking…”I wish every one who visited Prague came on a tour like this.” Highly recommended.

First class small group tour - Very interesting tour with a knowledgable guide. Small group so able to visit places that would not be possible with larger groups, also tailored to the group. On booking felt it was expensive, but definitely worth the extra. Thoroughly recommended.

Art Nouveau architecture in Prague. - Fantastic tour. Guide very knowledgeable an d passionate. As well as the architecture taught us a lot about Czech history and politics which influenced development. Not the cheapest tour we saw advertised but worth every penny.

Great architecture tour! - My husband and I loved Bonita's Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture tour. Not only did she introduce us to amazing exteriors and interiors but she provided so much historical, sociological and economic factors behind the styles. I think the tour would be a great jumping off point for any visitor who wants more grounding in Prague's and the Czech Republic's history. Highly recommend!

Great tour with an inspiring guide - Matous was a wonderful guide. His love of the Art Nouveau period was clear from his descriptions of the buildings we saw and it was inspiring. We loved that we got to see places most tourists would never stumble across.

Exceptional expertise, stunning sights - Vadim was an excellent guide who went out of his way to include our specific interests in the tour (Cubism and Art Deco) as well as many Art Nouveau delights. We could have spent the whole day listening to and learning from him.

Vadim was THE BEST! - The three of us are experienced (nice word for old) world travelers with many private tours under our belts. With that said, our Dec 2023 "Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture" with Vadim Erent was THE BEST! He took us places in Prague we could not have seen on our own; pointed out nuances in the intertwining of art and industrialization in Prague after 1900; and provided context and detail beyond our enthusiastic but amateur understanding of art nouveau and cubism in a charming, witty, kindly fashion. In addition Vadim offered insights about living, playing, and eating in Prague that led us to charming restaurants. We all thought this was an A+ tour and that we would seek out Insight Cities tours wherever they were available.

An amazing tour with an amazing guide - I have been taking tours around the world for over 40 years, and I can say that Vadim is one of the best guides I have had around the world for several reasons. Our first tour with him was for Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture in Prague. But he was so good on that first tour that we arranged for him to give us another tour of the Prague Castle. My only sorrow is that we did not use him earlier in our trip to gain a fundamental understanding of Prague and the Czech republic from the outset. Vadim is a unique guide because he has an amazing depth and breadth of knowledge across many topics, including art, architecture, history, politics, religion, culture, and sociology. He is able to magically and seamlessly weave all of these things together in a conversation. Consequently, you hear not only about art or architecture, but also the history of Prague (and Europe) across hundreds of years. In his historical discussions, he tells you not only about the religious clashes underlying those events, but also the psychology driving different factions and decisions. Likewise, his discussion about art and architecture describe the historical and psychological context in which those different trends arose. Finally, while he is very funny, he thankfully does not use canned, rehearsed jokes that many guides painfully use. Rather, his comments and jokes arise naturally in conversation, as he peppers his discussions with funny anecdotes across history.
