• Hluboká Castle - Our first visit will be Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle. The castle owes its current appearance to the Schwarzenberg family and is often described as the most beautiful Czech castle.
  A piece of Windsor England in the middle of South Bohemia.That’s how one could sum up the magical Hluboká Castle, which got its present appearance in the 19th century after a Neo-Gothic reconstruction. Hluboká Castle was originally founded as a guardian castle in the middle of the 13th century by Bohemian kings. Within the context of the Romantic modification of the noble residence, the Schwarzenbergs founded an expansive landscaped park in the mid 19th century.
  The castle with its 140 rooms and 11 towers offers several tour variants. During the tour of the castle, one can peek inside private rooms and lavish ceremonial halls with carved paneling, coffered ceilings, elegant furnishings, crystal chandeliers and rich collections of paintings, silver, porcelain and tapestries.

The specified tour is available only on Saturdays and Sundays between 1st and 30th April. It operates daily excluding MONDAYS, from May 1st until September 30th. The provision of this tour is reserved for the weekends during the month of October, from the 1st to the 31st. The booking requirement is a minimum of two people and a maximum limit of six clients. A private vehicle or minivan is provided for this tour which lasts for 8 hours. The tour guide and professional driver will collect you from your hotel at either 8 am, 8:30 am or 9 am. One feature of the tour is the Red Lhota Chateau, a summer residence built from a Gothic fortress in the 16th century. It was historically the hub of entertainment, festivities and relaxation. The red brick roof added in the early 17th century brought about its name change from Nová Lhota (New Village) to Červená Lhota (Red Village) and eventually, the facade also took on the same color. Another notable stop is the Hluboká nad Vltavou Chateau. A Neo-Gothic architectural marvel situated in South Bohemia making it a preferred stopover for history enthusiasts and lovers of romance.
