My husband and I had... - My husband and I had booked a group tour to Terezin. It ended up being a private tour. We had a driver and a very knowledgeable historian guide. A private comfortable van to take us there and back, and the tickets included for admission to the sites. Once on site, the resident guide took over showing us and telling us everything about the history. A very sad place but of course somewhere that is very important to witness and remember.

Must see outside Prague! - We very much enjoyed this visit from Terezin. Our guide Veronica was really well documented and knew how to convey the emotion and historical magnitude that reigns in this particular place. The tour was well organized and without Veronica's expertise, this memorable visit would probably not have meant the same to us!

Sobering historical perspective - Our group was a total of six. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the site. The guide shared information and facts with us during the ride out. We toured both the small fort (the camp) and the large fort (the ghetto). Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared with us history and facts about the fort complex from other historical eras. The majority of the tour focused on the Holocaust as one might expect. We spent about three to 3.5 hours touring the sites and museum. With the drive there and back it’s a five to six hour day.

Terezin - We had a wonderful day. Pavlina really knows her subject but I feel she needs to interact more. We were very fortunate to have a small group and she knew the answers to all our qurestions. Because she is probably used to bigger groups, she was rushing at first.

Feedback - Guide was difficult to understand and simply read a script. Many of the guests were dissatisfied but the guide in the prison was fabulous

Don’t use this company - Seeing Terezín is important but not with this company. Our guide Dana was horrible, she read from a script and was not knowledgeable. She could not answer any questions. In addition, I paid for an English tour. They also put Germans on the same bus. The guide read one line in English then repeated it in German, back and forth, back and forth. She also ended every sentence with “you know” and “ya” it was just awful. You could barely understand her. She was more like a caretaker, but sometimes she would just stare into space, or start talking to no one. Thankfully we had a separate English speaking guide at the small fortress but we felt bad for the Germans because our guide was supposed to interpret for them but she was unable to do the job. The whole experience was very disappointing.
