A Wonderfull Bike Tour Highly Recommended - This bike tour was a perfect way to spend quality time with my 26 year old son while rouring the Czech counteyside. Our guide was super nice and informative about places we passed along the way. I was impressed by the bicycle toad along the river which made the riding smooth and easy. There were a few small areas of easy off-road biking. Upon arriving in Karlstejn I felt a sense of accomplishment. We had a good lunch in Karlstejn before exploring the village. I recommend this tour for anyone who can ride a bike and wants to taste a bit of the Czech countryside.

Ride from Prague to the Castle. - Great ride to the Castle as a warm up to our 6 day ride to Vienna. Katrina was an excellent guide and helpful in pointing out the sites. The ride is very scenic and the castle is spectacular! The train ride back top Prague was cool. Definitely recommend!

beautiful and scenic bike ride along two rivers to a castle in central Bohemia - Very lucky with the weather on an approximately 3 hour bike ride . As we got into Karlstejn the heavens opened so managed to shelter in a convenient outdoor restaurant and had lovely meal . Then made our way to the castle and booked a guided tour around . Adolf gave us train tickets back after we parked the bikes up in a local hotel . So make sure you go round the castle as this trip is all about getting there and seeing it . Recommend you call at a local seller on the road down from the castle and have a glass of mead . My son bought a half bottle after tasting a small sample . All in all fantastic day out . Thanks Adolf .

Get out of the city and bicycle! - Ave bicycle tours from Prague to Karlstejn Castle was a fun exhilarating and beautiful way to see and experience the Czech countryside. It was an easy 3 hour bike ride with 3 perfectly timed breaks. I was a little nervous venturing on a 20 mile bike ride because cycling is not a form of exercise I do at home. However, Ave bicycle tours was true to their claim that the bicycle ride is appropriate for all riding levels. The ride was pleasant with only 1 challenging hill for novice cyclist. Our guide Phillip was courteous and helpful along the way. Karlstejn castle and the entire ride was a fun memorable experience. It is a fabulous addition for your Prague vacation.

Best highlight of my Prague Vacation - My husband and I booked this tour thinking that it was going to be a small group. It ended up being just the two of us and our guide Pavel Dedera. The tour company offered Hotel pick up, but the drop off location, which is not in the main City Center was kind of iffy. It took a while for us to feel comfortable about the surrounding. But it didn't take long for Pavel to make us feel as ease. (Again, we thought it was going to be a group). The ride was pleasant, the country side views met our expectations, Pavel was very informative and friendly, he answers all our questions. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoy the ride. Will recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get out of the busy City of Prague and see the Country side.

We had a great time on this ride... -
We had a great time on this ride. Michaela was our guide, she went at our pace and told us interesting stories about the villages we passed. We stopped at various locations for a break and stopped for coffee with cake in a bakery. We really enjoyed our morning and we had a wonderful lunch at Karlstejn. I can recommend u Adama for lunch once you get there. The castle itself was beautiful. I would recommend this trip.

One of our best experiences - Prague to Karlstejn - This was a highlight of our visit to Prague. We took the bicycle tour from Prague to Karlstejn. It ended up being just the two of us on the tour. The ride took about 3 hours, and was mostly flat, riding nice bike trails along the river. They provided water and helmets with the bicycle rental. The tour guide would stop and point out interesting things along the way. When we got to Karstejn, we had beers and lunch at a local restaurant and our guide provided us with train tickets back to Prague.

Great company and memorable experience! - I rented a bike on Saturday with a group of friends to go to Karlstejn Castle. The customer service was great and they even provided bottled water for us as it was a very hot day. The bikes were in good shape and they provided helmets as well. We had gorgeous views on our tour and I would definitely do this again! They were even flexible with our bike drop off time. We arrived much later than we had anticipated due to a train stop cancellation, but they were able to meet us at the shop and made sure we had a good time. Would recommend this company to anyone!

Nice Ride - Great bike ride, but the guide was a bit dull. Would have preferred someone with more energy and enthusiasm.
