Winter day trip - Our family went on this tour during winter and it was absolutely beautiful! It was only done in a small group of 8 people. Vojta was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, kind and most importantly, fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Prague.

Amazing tour, beautiful views and great tour guide - Had a great day trip! Had a lovely small group of 7 ppl. Everyone was super friendly, we were collected on time and taken to our first stop at Saxon Switzerland national park and it was stunning! Our tour guide Vojta was very informative and funny and made us all laugh through out the trip. We then went to our second location Tiské Stěny which was also gorgeous and covered in snow! It was pretty slippy but that just added to the fun! The views were stunning. Another massive thank you to our tour guide Vojta! Pictures don’t put into perspective how beautiful these places are

A Harry Potter fan must do!! - This is an incredible must see if you’re in the area! It was very foggy, and yet that added a spooky element to our day. The guide was very knowledgeable and the beauty, even in the fog, was unmatched!

Hiking Treks Worth the Experience and Views - It was a day of incredible hikes that lead to spectacular views of rock formations, valleys, river, countryside and homes. Wear your best hiking shoes. My running sneakers were perfect.

Amazing and entertaining - I had an amazing time with the most entertaining driver ever! His sarcastic humor kept us laughing throughout the entire trip, turning every stop into a hilarious experience. Despite the jokes, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we learned a lot along the way. If you want a tour guide who’s both funny and informative, this guy is the one! Highly recommend!

Extraordinary hiking experience - This is a great tour if you like hiking. The scenery is amazing and stunning when you are up on the mountain. The hike down to the gorge and the boat ride was an extraordinary experience. Our tour guide Honza is very knowledgeable and helpful. A word of advice, you need to be fit enough to endure over one hour of uphill hikes and back. The climb from the gorge is quite hard and might not be enjoyable to those that are unfit. But overall, we had a great time and I think it is quite worth the price.

Swiss Saxon and Bohemian Tour - The excursion was wonderful, we organized it with civitatis and the super friendly staff, very attentive and polite, requires good physical condition, many climbs but spectacular views, the best excursion in years throughout Europe that I have done, advisable 100x100.

Strenous climbing - This is kind of a mixed review so I would rate it at just barely the four stars. First, I want to say that Vojta, our driver and guide, excellent. He is a native of Prague but his English was quite good. He was very informative and engaging and had a great sense of humor. So, absolutely no complaints about him. Also great, were the views from the locations we visited, even the Saxon part with the fog! The Czech countryside and parks are quite beautiful. Where we had issues, was with getting to these places. In the detailed Itinerary, it says “Maximum size of our group is 7. We will drive in a comfortable Mercedes van…”. Our group size was actually 8 which might have felt more comfortable if we were travelling in a Mercedes. Instead, we were in a fume belching VW van that has long since seen better days! As for reaching the various sites, beware and be ready. You are going to do some serious climbing. The booking info warns against those with heart problems or other serious conditions. But again, the detailed itinerary for the Arch states: “Little kids, seniors, they all are hiking to the top every day. You will do it too. Easily.” And for the last site, the gorge, there is no indication or warning of how steep down you go into the gorge and you then have to climb all those steps back to the top. I’m in relatively good shape; I’m just older (in my 60s). Those climbs really took a lot out of me. Yes, the views when you get there are lovely and great photo ops, but you need to know that the climbing is quite strenuous. To end on a positive note, the little inn where we stopped to have lunch was really nice. The hostess/owner was a very sweet grandmotherly type and we were served a traditional Czech meal; goulash with bread dumplings with beer to drink.
