Fantastic Tower- fab views! - What a fantastic tower. It was a walk to get there but well worth it. View was amazing. There is a bar and restaurant, in the tower and on the ground.

Prague Zizkov Tower - TV tower outside the old town whose aesthetics we will appreciate or not. For my part it is a great success that brings freshness and an unusual note to the
city.
The original design of this tower dates from the Communists but it will not be finished until after their fall, which will fuel conflicting debates among the Praguois on whether or not to keep the tower...
The climbing babies are works by Cerny that were originally intended to be temporary but were eventually maintained.
The night illuminations are beautiful (see photos)
The entrance ticket is high. Once inside, we have access to two levels: the observatory at more than 90 meters that break down into 3 main rooms, a restaurant that we have not tested (prices are a deterrent for Prague). There is also a hotel room, the “One Room” between the observatory and the restaurant.
In one of the rooms, there is a beautiful frieze of other large towers scattered around the world, including the TV Tower of Vienna and the atypical Slovak Liberation Tower of Bratislava.

Fabulous views that are just about worth the price - Really cool, the views are amazing and it's such a unique structure, I did think it was a bit expensive which is the only reason I didn't give five stars but it was a great experience

TV Tower Prague - Not an architectural masterpiece, but from here you can get an incredibly beautiful view of a city worth seeing from above.

🔹 A beautiful view, but... 🔹 - The Žižkov Transmission Tower offers magnificent panoramic views of Prague, especially at sunset. This is really the highlight of the visit! 🌇
On the other hand, the atmosphere of the place is a little cold, and the very modern architecture denotes with the historical charm of the city. The entrance fee is also a bit high for what it is.
If you like panoramas, it’s worth a visit, but it’s not a must compared to other free or more authentic views.

A different experience of Prague and amazing views! - This was a great way to experience Prague from a different perspective. The views from the top were superb (on a very clear and sunny day) and the building was strangely interesting. The giant babies on the outside were an interesting addition!! The area around the tower was very authentic and quiet compared to the main city and we enjoyed wandering around. Easy to get to using trams from city centre.

Too expensive and cash only, but probably worth the visit. - Fortunately, we qualified for the 250CZK reduced entrance (full price 300CZK) but even at that level I would say it was overpriced, and the fact that it is cash only almost caused us a problem. I get the impression that they work on the premiss that if you have made your way out to this attraction in Prague 3 then you are likely to pay the money to go up the tower.
I’ve given the tower 5 stars (the tower has its own Trip Advisor listing) because I thought architecturally and as an art exhibit it was striking, and worth searching out.
But although there are a couple of nice features such as the information wall on the world’s tallest towers and the ability to have a selfie with angel wings will appeal to some, I didn’t think there was enough to justify the entry cost.
Fortunately for us we visited just before dusk and virtually had the place to ourselves and were able to see the last of the sunset from the tower. Also, there was only a couple in the relaxation pod room, so no problem to sit in one of these and chill to the sounds. Interesting to see that everyone else in there were sitting in the pods using their mobile phones. I think the concept of “relaxation” wasn’t being fully grasped or understood in some cases.
The young girl on reception was very polite and helpful, but then we were the only customers at that time.
I’m glad we went, and just to see the tower as a modern-day piece of art is worth it (the ten giant sculptures of babies by the leading Czech artist David Černý crawling all over the outside of the tower are a lot less scary than the ones on the west bank of the river by the same artist).
But compared to other towers and attractions in Prague, this one is on the pricey side for what you get.

Nice view of Prague, but... - Check-out scam. I'm asked for cash payment in kroner because the girl tells me I can't use the card, having none I asked to pay in euros. I was told that's fine, but the change instead of 1 to 25 made me 1 to 20. So far, she's made 20% of it. I was surprised that on the way out, other visitors paid by card. For the rest, you see a nice view, but the cost is a bit high
