Highlights
  • Reinhard Heydrich assassination site - When passing the site, you will hear in great detail how the main architect of the Final Solution to the Jewish Question was assassinated by the brave Czechoslovakian paratroops.
  • Terezin Memorial - Our visit of the Terezin concentration camp lasts about 2hrs, during which an acredited tour guide will lead you through the spine-chilling site. You will see both the Gestapo prison as well as the Terezin Ghetto.
  • Litomerice - A cozy old-fashion styled coffe house will surely lift your mood after the heavy atmosphere of Terezin. It is based in a restored 19th century railway station and offers some of the best coffee and deserts one can find in the entire region.
  • Tiske steny - Enjoy an easy-going walk through a sandstone labyrinth where the first Narnia was largely filmed. It is romantic, outdoorsy, refreshing, relaxing and beautiful all at the same time!
  • Bastei Bridge - After having lunch in the region’s best-rated restaurant which majority of our travellers evaluates as the best food of their vacation, enjoy the scenic highlight of the tour - the Bastei Bridge.

Perfectly balanced day trip and the highlight of my stay in Prague! - Peter is so amazing, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and passionate about what he does. The day trip was my favorite part of my weekend trip to Prague! The views from the Bastei bridge were especially gorge-ous LOL! Also I would say it is suitable for a wide age range. My friend and I are 19/20 and the other people on the tour with us were in their late 60s and we all had a blast! Highly recommend this tour!

What an interesting and informative day! - Wow! This was far beyond what I expected. Peter the guide was so nice and so informative. I wasn’t sure what to expect at Terezín but we spent a good amount of time with Peter giving us lots of explanation. The Bohemian part was quite unique with the rock formations. Wear hiking shoes! Unfortunately it was pouring rain but still interesting and unique. Because we had dessert near lunch, the meal after the hike ( about 4pm) ended up more like dinner. Lovely spot. Still more things to see so we only got back around 9pm. My husband and I are near 70yrs old ( but we both are in fairly good shape) and we were joined by 2 young girls around 20yrs old. We all thought it was a very fun filled, unique day.

Must See Well-Balanced Tour of Tragic History & Natural Beauty + Best Guide Ever! - My wife and I are veteran travelers through 73 countries and countless guided tours. I was sincerely struck by this tour which is a well-designed symphony balancing a horrific episode of WW II — The Terezin Concentration Camp followed by an immersive tour of the Bohemian Switzerland mountains and countryside. While these sights can generally stand on their own, this particular tour was substantially enhanced by the empathetic and articulate leadership of our guide —Peter. Peter was born & raised in this area and his knowledge of and passion for the countryside is compelling. There are many lengthy tours from Prague focussed on either the Bohemian Alps or the historic Terezin Camp. This was the only tour that I could find that effectively covered both in one full tour day. Peter, the guide, was a huge unexpected bonus! It was a wonderful and informative day overall. The vehicle was comfortable. The level of physical effort needed is low to moderate though I am sure Peter will tailor to the group needs. Additionally, Peter is generous with break stops for coffees and pastries as well an especially good traditional Czech lunch at the Best-Rated restaurant in the region. We highly recommend this tour without reservation

If you miss this tour, you miss out! - Fantastic day out with very diverse experiences from the grim history to breathtaking views. Petr is very knowledgeable on a lot of subjects and very friendly. At no time he rushed us, but let us take in everything at our own pace. All food included was of excellent quality.
