Wonderful day - The tour was great. A relaxing and insightful day. Anastasia was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I loved seeing the 12th century castles and learning the history of The Knights of Tomar.

Must see - This is my second time to Lisbon and third tour I’ve done with Kitzel Tours. First of all I’d like to thank our guide for the most amazing tour and history of all the sites we visited. The pickup was on time, car was comfortable, and water was provided. We started our day taking a small boat (cost 4 euro per person to go on boat cash only) across a moat to a castle. We climbed the castle and got some incredible views from the top. Next we drove to a church (free entry). Third stop was at a nice restaurant for lunch. Fourth stop was my favorite cost 10 euros a person to enter. The final stop was to an aqueduct which was interesting because we got to climb the stairs and walk on top. Overall amazing day can’t recommend enough!

Great day at Tomar - Hello! We had a wonderful day with Joao(John). It was a discovery. His historical knowledge is worthy of a professional. The day went by very quickly. We learned a lot and Joao was very available for our questions, or just to take pictures of us. We discovered a beautiful part of Portugal. By the way, our lunch was great, and we received a very warm welcome. If we go back to Portugal, we'll ask Joao again to show us another part of the country. I recommend this tour for everyone. Experience of a lifetime! - Our tour with João today was phenomenal. We saw the most incredible places and he was so knowledgeable and showed us the tiniest of details and made sure we were comfortable on the tour. He also took us to a wonderful restaurant in Tomar. This tour is one not to be missed as you will not see these wonders anywhere else in Europe.

I had an outstanding day... - I had an outstanding day going on this tour of the knights Templar. It was great to explore outside of Lisbon as well. Very different and unique castles and churches are seen pertaining to the Templars. A highlight of my trip to Portugal. The guide was excellent and I highly recommend this tour!
