Additional Information

We embark on a journey to three sacred sites situated in the modern-day Roluos, once the heart of the Khmer Empire before it was briefly relocated to Koh Ker, and eventually, Angkor Thom. Lolei is the northernmost temple within the cluster known as the Roluos Group, constructed in the late 9th century. The trio of temples - Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong - were all places of Buddhist worship. At Preah Ko, one can witness the three magnificent towers adorned with stone lions and meticulous carvings. Post lunch, we’ll explore a local village and a market. One can observe the daily life routines of the natives and visit a market that offers reasonably priced souvenirs. Our day concludes at Bakheng Mountain, formed in the early 10th century, offering stunning views of Angkor Wat.
