New living, new culture, crocodile farm - We had an excellent trip with Bun and Sal to the floating villages next to Siem Reap.
Our guide Bun provided us with all the relevant information regarding history, culture and religion of the people living in these villages. He showed us also a crocodile farm, which is a great experience to walk upon the crocodiles.
Big thank you to Bun and his team for making this trip comfortable and joyful.
We hope to come back soon.

Great tour - Another excellent small group tour with Journey Cambodia. Tour guide So was informative and very helpful throughout the day. Booked a small group tour but it turned out to be a private tour with just my wife and I on the bus. The driver (Run) was great and provided us with water and cold towels throughout. Thank you

Must see!!! - What an experience! My friend and I had an amazing time visiting Tonle Sap Lake and village. The trip was made all the more amazing by our incredible guide Bun and our driver Mao. They were so friendly and treated us with amazing Cambodian hospitality. They immersed us in Cambodian history that left us so well informed. Thank you Bun and Mao for an inspiring day. Definitely one my friend and I will remember.

A great trip made even better by our guide - A great trip made excellent due to our kind and knowledgable guide Pheap. Added colour and context to our private tour of the fishing village Kompong Phluk.
March is dry season and it would be even more fascinating in the wet no doubt. Any excuse to come back to friendly Cambodia! Relatable as it was a town like any other in the way it functions. A very different way of life and good to support back into the community as this company (run out of Kompong Phluk) does according to Pheap.
Would definitely recommend these for this tour and others.

Another side of Siem Reap - A very enjoyable trip by van to the dock and then a boat ride through the river and fishing village and flooded forest to Tonle Sap lake. Once again the tour guide, Sayrika, was informative and it was great to see more of the beautiful country of Cambodia. (This would be a great trip if you are traveling with children who are bored of the temples).
Highly recommend Journey Cambodia tours.

highly recommeded tour to Tonle Sap Lake and flooded forest - We had a half day tour guided by Mr. Chhay. He gave us a lot of information and impression about the importance of the lake and the life aside the lake. It's not only the facts presented in very good English but also the background knowledge that impressed me and my colleagues very much.

Excellent tour. Good complement to other Siem Reap activities. - Very good tour. Even with low water levels from the dry season, the lake is still impressive and the stilts on which the houses are built can be better appreciated when they are not submerged. Trip also provides a nice introduction to normal Cambodian countryside. Sok Chea was the guide.
P.S. He was also the guide for the two-day temple tour. I strongly urge everyone to at least do two days of temples and a trip like this one. Otherwise you are just missing too much. Overall I think Journey Cambodia did a very good job on all three days we traveled with them.

Great Tonle Sap tour with Somchhay - I booked this tour over the internet a few months before we arrived in Cambodia, the company is very efficient and confirmed the booking when we arrived.
We had a private tour, with a guide and driver and just two of us. This is great as I can ask as many questions as I like. Chhay was great, he took us to a local market which was fascinating , the people were so smiley and friendly and didn’t mind us taking photos. He then took us to a lotus farm and we tried the seeds, very nice. All of this on the way to the lake.
We had a boat to our selves too and Chhay told us all about the people in the floating village and how they live. We stopped at a floating restaurant/ crocodile farm, he really packed lots in for us. He really earned his money. Again the driver supplied us with cold water which was very appreciated.

Fantastic journey - We did a half day private tour to Tonle Sap Lake. I made this reservation after a live chat with a Journey Cambodia staff. The live chat person was very helpful and he customized our trip based on our desire and schedule.
Journey Cambodia was beyond our expectation with their quality service, reasonable price and great staffs.
Our private tour to Tonle Sap Lake started at 3pm. Our tour guide, Mr. Sok Chae was very passionate, kind and knowledgable.
He did a great job answering all of our questions and explaining lots of details and interesting stories about Cambodia. We drove about 40 minutes in an air conditioned minivan. Then, we took a boat trip to the Kampong Phluk villages and flooded forest. The unique houses on stilts and their culture were very impressive. We really enjoyed the tour. Thank you, Mr.Sok Chae and Journey of Cambodia for giving us amazing memories of Cambodia!

Eye opening experience - Lucky, our guide, picked us up right on time at our hotel. He educated us along the way about the lake and the homes and people there. He was very interesting and informative. He was born in Siem Reap, and his life story (we asked) was touching.
Lucky was such a good guide in every way... smiling, thoughtful, careful, well educated and familiar with the area as only a local could be.
The tour was fascinating, if not humbling. It is obvious that alot of people in the world don't live with the same amenities we are accustomed to. Getting an education here can be a challenge. Yet, the children still laughed and played, and the people fished and socialized. The boats and homes were often very colorful. The water was high when we went, so we could see the true obstacles for the locals living on the water. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip there and back and thought it was well worth the money! Ask for Lucky!
