  • Prescott National Forest - Ponderosa to Goldwater Lake
    This route is one of our favorites. It has a good mix of get your heart pumping off-road thrills and some of the most picturesque views you’ll find. We keep this trip mostly in the tall pines with lots of steep ascents and descents and a few water crossings. We finish up with a 15 minute break at Goldwater lake for pictures and then return to the Square.

Great tour - Great off road back woods experience with a surprise waterfall. Guide knew a lot of history about Prescott. Caught some views of animals.

Beautiful Views and Great Fun - Absolutely amazing and fun! Tom was great! The views at the lake, OMG, so beautiful! The trail was a lot of fun! Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Views in Prescott - We had a really nice time with Tom in his Hummer! He was an expert driver and we felt safe the entire time. The forest was beautiful and experiencing the mountain through steep dirt roads was a blast. While on normal roads Tom was full of interesting knowledge about Prescott and the surrounding areas. If you're looking to have a little adventure and learn about the area this tour is for you.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE - The views were amazing - the Staff (Tom and team) were extremely nice and fun. Full of facts. We had the mountains and sunset to ourselves. What an experience. Will definitely go back and book another adventure with them.

Wonderful Experience - What a great experience this was. Our guides were wonderful and kind. The view was INCREDIBLE! And the smores and Wolf'ems (yes, it's a thing--look it up!) were so good. I don't usually eat that stuff, but I ate more than my share and they still offered more. LOL. Everyone in our party really enjoyed this tour.

Great scenery and off road experience. - Awesome views that are rarely seen! We loved the drive even if it was a little scary at times. We'll worth it! Tom was very informative and a great experienced driver. No worries with him! Do not hesitate to go! Do it! Very enjoyable, loved it!

Fun & informative - Absolutely wonderful trip with Tom. We highly recommend any of the Angry Ape tours but the sunset drive we did was peaceful & a perfect end to our Prescott trip.
