It was a very special, informative and fun trip. Loved being in the wild. - I loved this trip. I have never been on an e bike and am 73 years old but I managed fine. It was interesting and we saw a large selection of animals. Ostrich zebra wildebeest and giraffe. It was a trip of a lifetime.

Amazing Experience!!! - Be sure to add this activity to your list when visiting Pretoria! The scenery was beautiful and being so close to the wildlife was an unforgettable experience. Bill and Muneiwa were knowledgeable guides giving pieces of history as well as facts about the wildlife. They went above and beyond making sure our group had water, hydrating drinks and snacks to keep us going on the 3 hour trek.

The BEST half-day activity in Pretoria! - What an absolutely incredible experience! I cannot recommend highly enough the E-Biking experience at Groenkloof Nature Reserve. I booked the experience for myself and 3 coworkers during our free time on a work trip to Pretoria. I was slightly nervous as I am a 43-year old who has not been on a bicycle in about a decade, but those nerves quickly disappeared, as it was easy and enjoyable, and the benefit of having the electric boost for the hills was a nice bonus. Our guides Bill and Muneiwa were so wonderful. They were so communicative, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly from the moment I booked the experience to the very end. I even booked it at the last minute and they were very accommodating. I was absolutely awestruck by the beauty of the nature reserve and had to pinch myself a few times to remind myself that this was indeed real life. I had just arrived from the U.S. the day before, so to be out in nature after 18 hours of plane rides was exactly what I needed to reset! Bill’s love for South African history and Muneiwa‘a knowledge of the wildlife was evident, and I learned a lot. My favorite moment was probably when we arrived at a clearing with tons of zebras and 2 giraffes! I also enjoyed when the wildebeest ran across the bike path in front of us. We saw many other wildlife too! I’ve been on a mini-safari as a passenger in a jeep before, and was happy this time to try a different kind of approach on the e-bike. We did get tired by the end of the 3-hour ride and had a little exhaustion but Bill went above and beyond to ensure we were okay and got the rest we needed and that all were safe. I would do this experience again! Not only did I learn new tidbits of info, I got exercise, I saw animals, I spent much needed time in nature, and feel like I also made some new international friendships! Highly recommend, thank you again Bill and Muneiwa!

Amazing Experience!!!!!!! - My group had such an amazing time. Bill is a thoughtful and well-informed host who provided such a well curated tour for my group’s needs and interests! The reserve itself is a gorgeous stretch of land that truly felt like being in the wild once we drove deeper. The e-bikes made for a smooth and exciting mode of transportation. We got to see zebras, giraffes, ostriches, wildebeest and Impala in action. I would definitely book again!

Great guides, great time - Bill and Coen were excellent guides! They set our bikes up perfectly, helped us learn the e-bike gears and made sure everyone moved at a good pace without leaving anyone behind. Ride was just challenging enough in a couple of spots to build confidence and have fun. Saw zebra, wildebeest, ostriches and more. GREAT time! Would do it again!

Wonderful experience! - So much fun being so close to the zebras!! The scenery was beautiful. The trail is rocky, so a bit bumpy in spots, but the bikes performed great! All in all, a wonderful experience.

Very hard cycling, and very few animals. - The roads are steep, and covered with deep ruts and big stones, making the riding very hard for two experienced cyclists. Tour guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. Animals were few and far between, so if you've been on safari, you should skip this.
