This monument is of great significance to many Afrikaans speaking South Africans, there it stands for Afrikaner Nationalism. The monument is in the shape of a big stone cube. The interior walls depict the story of the Great Trek, a mass movement of Afrikaaner Boers who resented British rule.

Very interesting tour with personalised support - I did the half-day city tour from Johannesburg. My driver and guide picked me up on time from my hotel - I was on my own and enjoyed a very personalised tour. My guide - whose name I unfortunately don't know, I think it starts with T (but I'm not entirely sure about that either, but at least I know he lives in Pretoria) has incredible knowledge about the city and South Africa's history in general. It was extremely interesting to listen to him. He showed me a lot of the city, and we also walked a lot - I'm generally enthusiastic about it, but unfortunately it was raining so heavily. It was still great to get to know the city in this way. He was also a very safe driver. I can only recommend the tour. Thanks to my guide.

Schöne Pretoria Tour - The tour with Taphelo was great. He took a lot of time for us, talked a lot about the history of South Africa and answered all our questions. That was great!
Besides, he is a really likeable and funny person!
We had booked the half-day tour Pretoria via Tripadvisor. The booking and communication went very well. Taphelo was on time at our hotel.
All program items from the tour were fulfilled and you felt safe at all times.
Only the Unions Buildings were closed because we were out on a Saturday, but I had read that before. This should be noted, on weekends the Union Buildings are not accessible. Thank you Taphelo , it was a great tour with you! I can really highly recommend this trip.

John&Roisin Newcastle upon Tyne UK - Excellent tour to Pretoria from Johannesburg. Our guide was very courteous. He has exceptional knowledge of the history of Oretoria. He and enabled us to continue to and from each location at our own pace. Overall he evidently takes pride in his role and his wonderful homeland.

Pretoria historical highlights - We enjoyed the tour. Clement our tour guide from Mo-Africa was awesome. He was very knowledgeable on the history of SA. He was patient in answering our questions and gave us adequate times at the historical sites. This tour was well worth the price we paid. Gave us good insights of the key historical points in Pretoria.
