Into the Heart of the Rainforest

As a seasoned surfer and lover of all things oceanic, I often find myself drawn to the rhythm of the waves and the salty embrace of the sea. But every now and then, the call of the wild beckons me inland, away from the familiar crash of surf and into the lush embrace of the rainforest. This time, it was the Ebano Waterfalls and Rainforest Safari that lured me away from the coast and into the heart of Costa Rica’s verdant wilderness.

The journey began with a rendezvous at a quaint meeting spot, where I was greeted by a team of guides who exuded warmth and enthusiasm. Our chariot for the day was a rugged 4x4 Safari truck, perfectly suited for the adventure that lay ahead. As we rumbled through the dense foliage, our guide, Juan Carlos, regaled us with tales of the land and its inhabitants. As the day drew to a close, we gathered by the river for a traditional Costa Rican lunch, wrapped in banana leaves and bursting with flavor. It was a feast for the senses, a fitting end to a day spent immersed in the natural beauty of the rainforest.
