Napoli - Sorrento

Naples - Arrive at Naples Airport or Train station where you will be met by a Wherever tour representative. Take a scenic drive to the beautiful seaside city of Sorrento and check in to Hotel Villa Giovanna in Johanna park. This afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour of Sorrento followed by a welcome dinner party with plenty of great food and wine.

Sorrento - Pompeii/and lunch and wine testing on Vesuvius - Sorrento

Pompeii - After Breakfast, meet your driver and visit the “perfectly preserved” ancient Roman city of Pompeii. A local expert will lead this journey through the excavated ruins of a city buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Be mesmerized by the many incredible secrets of this ancient city, frozen in time. Afterwards, visit the slopes of Mt Vesuvius and the vineyards where the world-famous Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ) wine is produced. Enjoy a delicious, plentiful, Roman-style lunch at the vineyard which includes this special wine, whose production dates back to the ancient Romans. Return to Sorrento to spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Island of Capri - Today you are transferred by boat to the infamous and beautiful island of Capri. A Wherever Tours representative at the hotel is available to offer any suggestions prior to your transfer so you can make the most of your day. This tiny island, which was once the playground of the ancient emperors, will leave you breathless due to its limitless charm and historical sights.

Sorrento (Gastronomy’s day)

Sorrento - This morning, relax and enjoy half a day at leisure. Perhaps, go for a swim in the hotel’s pool or one of the many nearby beaches? Later on, be ready to experience a delightful afternoon learning the arts of mozzarella and limoncello making at a nearby farm. Your day ends with the opportunity to savor an array of mozzarella-infused dishes, wine, and limoncello.

Sorrento - Naples

Naples - This morning, proceed to the third largest city in Italy - Napoli. This city, situated in the Gulf of Naples, is embedded with a 2800-year-old history. No trip to Napoli is complete unless one visits the National Archaeological Museum, which houses important collections of Roman Empire artifacts. Accompanied by a local guide, you visit this amazing museum prior to a scrumptious lunch of freshly made pizzas Napoli style! After lunch with drinks, you have free time to wander the streets or go shopping before returning to the hotel.

Sorrento - Amalfi/Ravello - Sorrento

Amalfi - Today, head out for the excursion along the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have cameras ready for spectacular views. Arrive in Positano where there will be free time to shop and explore this beautiful seaside town, later afternoon featured in many famous movies and backdrops. After, enjoy an exquisite dinner with wines, in one of the most famous restaurants of Positano, whilst admiring the magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Sorrento and cooking class

Sorrento - Today, enjoy more free time to shop and explore the town of Sorrento or simply relax by the pool. This afternoon, participate in a cooking class with a renowned chef who will give lessons on how to prepare homemade pasta. At the same time, learn the art of tasting great Neapolitan wines. Tonight, enjoy the “Ultima Cena” (Last Supper) in Sorrento. Great food, flowing wine, festive music, and some tarantella dancing complete this unforgettable week in Sorrento, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Naples - Sadly, it is time to say “arrivederci”. After breakfast, transfer to Naples airport or train station for your journey onwards.
