Good airport transportation - The entire experience was really good & hassle free. From the young ladies who welcomed us to our driver who showed us different authentic places to tour & eat on our drive to the resort.

Smooth Ride - Our driver, Sean, was punctual, friendly, and attentive! He was waiting for us when we walked out the airport and was right on time when we were leaving the hotel to return. Overall a very smooth ride. Thanks Groovy Tours!

A male driver with a bad attitude. - I just thought it was funny how my driver arrived 10 minutes earlier, looking around for me as if IM LATE, so I feel rushed and pressured I immediately let the front desk know I have to go and I forget my blanket. Then i was notified, “ I can only be here for 10 min” with an attitude. No one told you to come so early you wouldn’t have “waited” so long. If you showed up at 1130 as ordered, everything would’ve went smooth. Pickup time was 1130 mind you, it’s 11:25/26 at this point. We already in the car, headed out. We make it .2 miles and I asked if he can turn around in order for me to get what im missing. You’d think in the hospitality industry you’d show more good of it and just follow the passengers request., however I DID NOT get that from my driver. It was silent and the aggression of the wheel turn made me not feel comfortable. He was driving and talking on the phone up to his ear almost the entire time!! Honorable mention, when I thanked him for returning to get my blanket he just stared at me in what looked like disgust. Lol. A “you’re welcome” probably could avoided this whole review. I pray I’m not embarked with such rudeness again. We are the reason you guys have jobs, I don’t feel as though we should be treated like an inconvenience. Every other driver made us feel welcomed, asked if we needed anything, stop anywhere (even if it’s not apart of the journey), provided water as it is hot as ever and humid, and manners. I did not receive any of the above from my recent trip.

Grand Palladium Jamaica - The resort itself is beautiful and for the most part the staff tried to please and provide excellent service. Upon check in, our room had food wrappers on the floor and hair in the bathtub, presumably from the prior guests. Very dirty room upon check in. We were in a ground floor villa and our sliding door did not lock. We called the front desk twice to come and fix it- no response for hours. We had to move our furniture against the sliding door, as mentioned we were on the ground floor, next to the pool bar. A lot of traffic. We had late reservations twice, and both times we had to wait over an over to be sat- once we were able to eat, all the appetizers ( buffet style) were wiped out and they didn't refill them. We tried calling room service twice, and they never answered the phone after waiting on hold for over an hour. Our mini bar was stocked twice n the 7 days that we were there. ironically, after tipping him. food overall was average, the buffets were much better. make early reservations or get to the buffet early - the early bird... We met several groups who had been at this resort before, and ALL had mentioned that the hotel has gone down hill over the years- since Covid. The workers were friendly and energetic and the hotel pool is great - some of the liveliest bartenders.. We will not be back, from our previous vacations, the value and service, is more 3 star. We booked through Costco and they usually align themselves with top quality products and services- they should reconsider that relationship with the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Jamacia.
