Highlights
  • Isola di Burano - World Heritage Site - We will arrive in Burano, in the main canal, where on your right, you will admire the crooked bell tower, all the colorful fishermen’s houses, while the banks will be full of people, we will pass by with the boat, where we will moor!

The shops are PRE-SELECTED because in each of them, the history of the island and its traditions will be told.
I’ll show you:
the local laces, where a local guide will explain the centuries-old art and the tradition that we are slowly losing
The true story of Venetian masks, from the initial creation with paper to the finished product, a wonder of our Venetian history
Fishermen’s clothes, linen, fresh and ductile woven in the latest yarn made in Venice.

There are unique places where you can take photographs and taste the typical dessert of the island of Burano, and we will enter, for free, to taste it!
Even the tavern has its history, with its wine and its cicheti!!!

  • Murano - We will arrive in Murano, in front of a furnace, where a guide will be waiting for us to see how glass is made! You will be involved in the millenary technique and you will be able to ask the questions that most arouse your curiosity! We will see unique pieces displayed in the shop, from the most prestigious ones to everyday souvenirs! MADE IN MURANO, Italy
  • San Francesco del Deserto - the island of San Francesco del Deserto where 7 monks still live inside the monastery! I will tell you the history of this island
  • Venissa - We will only pass next to Mazzorbo, depending on the tour we take, towards Torcello. It is famous for its native vines, and if we have time we stop for a glass of wine…the salt marshes and numerous birds, including pink flamingos
  • Isola di Sant’Erasmo - Transiting through the islands, going or returning, we will pass through the island of Sant Erasmo, where there are the typical products of the land, the vegetables of the Venice lagoon
  • Torcello - hence the usual photos of the devil’s bridge, the famous hidden canal, the basilica and the bell tower reflecting on the water! the passage between swans and vegetation. One of my favorite places
  • Venice - We will spend the remaining part of the time sailing between one island and another, admiring the typical places, where I will provide you with a beautiful explanation on board!!

It depends very much on the time you spend in the previous islands and I, during the time of your tour, will always be at your disposal to best create your tour options. Remember, however, that you may be on a boat with other people (shared tour) everyone must agree!! But how can you not see part of the beautiful lagoon? IMPOSSIBLE.

What's Included
  • Complimentary bottled water

Small Group Tour to the Venetian Islands of Murano & Burano - This tour was wonderful. The tour guide, Davide was fun and so knowledgeable. His small boat was able to get our group up close to all the activities. Having a tour guide makes the experience so much more enjoyable and educational. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Not the corporate tour! - The opposite of a corporate tour, Davide injects love and passion into his narratives about the city. Just the right balance of boat sightseeing, learning about unique local artisan crafts, curated shopping, and food options.

Wonderful way to visit the Venetian Islands - We booked (and then rescheduled) a tour with Davide. As a result of the rescheduling we were overbooked for our requested date, but Davide bent over backwards to make another time work for us around our already busy schedule. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the stop at Murano where we viewed a master glass blower at work and purchased a beautiful vase (which we shipped home as art). The stop on Burano included a Lace shop with an interesting display of historical laces, a shop where we tasted traditional cookies, a shop where we saw a smaller glass blowing operation. We also stopped by a shop that sold carnival masks and had a demo of how masks are traditionally made. On the way back we stopped on an island for a wine tasting of a "gold" wine along with a red wine. We caught Davide and his boat at Fondamente Nuove which was a very enjoyable walk from our hotel by St Mark's Square. Davide is a local who is obviously well connected and gave a most enjoyable day in Venice!

Fantastic private tour! - Fantastic time with my wife in Murano and Burano for our 10 year anniversary! We found Davide on trip advisor and got in touch with him. We had direct contact via iMessage and it was great because we were able to arrange a private boat tour for a special price. Davide is a Venetian native and knows all of the local authentic vendors which made this experience even more special. Davide is also a very nice guy and we had a lot of fun with him! We recommend this 100%! Book with Davide!

Authentic and so enjoyable - Davide was truly excellent. He communicated with us the entire time from the pickup from our hotel to each activity we were doing. We loved touring the Morano glass factory and Burano. He is a true local!!!! He made sure to take a ton of cute pictures and airdropped them to me at the end. He knows Venice inside out and we loved the experience. Thank you Davide!!!

Fun times! - Overall the tour was great! Davide was a great host, very accommodating and an expert of all things Venice. His boat is nice, he’s an experienced driver and we thoroughly enjoyed being on a smaller boat in the grand canal. He took his time answering all of our questions and showed us much of the island. There were ~5 stops total. It was more sales oriented than we anticipated. Be prepared to be sold high end vases, sculptures, lace, etc. this is not necessarily a bad thing, since you’re supporting local businesses, but it is nice to know that a range in price is present and exists. Overall, we recommend the boat tour and guidance from David. Thanks!

Good tour with David - This tour was very fun and interesting. David took great care of us and we saw many interesting things. We especially liked Burano where we got to walk the town a little, mask making, gelato, balsamic and lace making. He made sure we knew when to use restrooms and had a stop for cafe. In Murano we were greeted with Prosecco. He even let our teen drive the boat. He even took pics and sent to us which was nice. Our only con was the boat was open with no cover and we had to sit separated from our kids. We would have liked for them to hear what he had to say to us on the boat as well as we stopped certain places or went by certain things. They were older so they were interested to hear but couldn’t. Otherwise, good tour!
