Amazing! - This was a challenging climb and could not have been possible without our excellent guide, Mr Chance Kim. He is a very fit and knowledgeable guide who customised our hike to our ability. The view from the Bibong Peak is just beautiful. This trip encouraged me to do more hikes in Korea. I highly recommend this.

What a great way to start metting Seoul - What a great time. Kim was a great host. The stories, the way he loves the nature, his knowledge. Definitely one of the best guides we had. The sights are amazing! We recommend this experience 200%

Great hiking experience in Bukhansan - I booked this hiking because I didn’t want to go alone, and I had Mr. Kim as my guide. He was very friendly and talkative. He had a nice chat while he was driving and during the hike. He was also considerate and let you go at your own pace. For the hike, it is quite challenging as it is pretty steep, and it is very hot during the summer, but also very rewarding as the view on top is amazing. Overall it was a great experience!

Will be made perfect if not for the rain - This trip will be made perfect if the weather is nice. My hiking was with a guide Mr Kevin Lee, and that day was raining quite heavily since the morning, however the guide was more concern for the customer's safety, which was of top priority of course. Though I didn't make it to the peak, the overall process from meeting-up at the hotel, until driving to the entrance and hiking to the Baegun Shelter were smooth. As most of the tour operators requested minimum two customers, hence I chose this tour as they still can accept single traveller. Plus point was that they offer pick up service from the hotel, and no join-in from other groups (not easy to hike in big groups). Mr Kevin was very chill, sharing a lot of Korean stories and can speak in good English, so communication wise is not a problem. Bukhansan National Park is worth to come again at different season!

We took this hike up to... - We took this hike up to Baegundae peak with Brandon as our guide. He was a great guide, and was very patient and knowledgeable. The hike itself is somewhat strenuous, with a steep uphill most of the way, and hand-holds near the top to help you up the rocks. The view from the peak is breathtaking and well worth the effort. We recommend this trip!

Great hiking experience! - I had a great, unforgetable experience on my hiking tour to Bukhansan Peak. I hired a hiking guide because I was solo, and didn't want to face the personal risk of such a difficult summit hike alone. Chance Kim was very friendly and professional. He's a very fit and knowledgeable hiker and an excellent driver -- you have to be to navigate Seoul. He's also very interesting to talk to and shared useful info about Seoul, it's history, and hiking other areas. Highly recommend!

Encouraging Guide! - Kim was a great guide! He was very encouraging along the way up the mountain. He also provided fun facts about the nature as we went. He ensured that we were safe, having fun, and that we were going at a pace that worked for our fitness level. Be warned that this hike is not for the weak. It’s a trek!! Would do it again though for the beautiful views!!

Great hiking experience! - I highly recommend this hiking tour to Baegundae with our excellent guide (Chance) Kim. Kim met us at our hotel and asked about our hiking experience to confirm the best route for our hike After parking near the trail head, we began the steady uphill climb with periodic breaks to discuss natural and historical features. The hike was challenging near the top due to the steep incline that required the use of cables, but Kim allowed us to go at our own pace. Once at the top, Kim took photos and provided a delicious lunch that we ate on the open rock face while enjoying the amazing (if somewhat hazy) views. Kim was very knowledgeable about hiking and nature in Seoul and South Korea, but we also enjoyed interesting discussions throughout the day about Korea's history and culture. My sister and I enjoyed our hike so much that we decided to do another excursion with Kim to Namhansanseong Fortress and Korean Folk Village (reviewed separately), which we also highly recommend. Our hiking tours with Kim were among the highlights of our trip!
