Family taxi transfer in Rome - 5 star service - We booked a private taxi transfer from Rome airport to Civitavecchia and then back from Civitavecchia port to the airport - family of five. The communication from Flavia from first enquiry and throughout was brilliant and she was super quick to reply to messages (what’s app). We were met on arrival by both drivers (Beba and Alessia) holding boards with our name on. Both drivers were professional and provided a great service. The vehicles were very comfortable and roomy and with good AC - perfect for larger families with luggage. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking at transfer options in or around Rome.

Rome tour - Flavia Cottuno Escursioni Roma Definitely recommend. We had a lovely tour visiting the Trevi Fountain, St. Peter’s Basilica, the outer part of the Colosseum as well as Spanish steps. We topped it off by grabbing lunch at a fantastic restaurant called Virgilio. They served authentic, yummy, and inexpensive Italian food; this was recommended by Flavia. It was a beautiful day and Flavia was great. She was on time and easy to communicate with. She even helped family of ours obtain a last minute tour. I highly recommend touring with her. Not a pleasant experience - This was neither the experience nor the service we expected from a private transfer from the port to Rome. First, the driver (Flavia) was stuck in traffic at the cruise port terminal and asked us to walk nearly half a mile with our luggage to her. We refused and she did eventually (about 30 minutes after the scheduled time) get to the terminal to pick us up. Then, she spent very large amounts of time with her head down on her phone while driving, and in several cases was driving for relatively long periods with no hands on the wheel allowing the van to drift out of its lane in many instances. Thankfully, she did get us to Rome without causing an accident but then dropped us off a block away from our hotel so my wife and I had to pull our luggage over a cobblestone street for about 50 meters. This was a harrowing ride and not the pleasant experience we expected at the start of our stay in Rome.
