An Unforgettable Sri Lankan Cooking Experience - Ranees and his lovely wife warmly welcomed me into their home and introduced me to the art of cooking Sri Lankan dishes in a wonderful atmosphere. We had very pleasant conversations, giving me valuable insights into Sri Lankan life. The time flew by as we cooked together. Ranees also took amazing photos and videos throughout the class, which I received along with the recipes that same evening. Thank you for a delightful evening!

Must do in Kandy - It was fantastic! The market tour was an awesome start, and the hotel transfers made it really easy. The couple who run the class are wonderful people - knowledgeable, kind, and able to answer every question. I'm so glad to have experienced it and gained a deeper understanding of Sri Lankan culture and cooking. Highly recommend!

Loved it 😍 - Had a brilliant experience. Would thoroughly reccomend whilst you’re staying in Kandy. We visited the market to collect all our ingredients then headed to Ranees home where we met his lovely wife. We learnt to cook some amazing Sri Lankan dishes from scratch then sat down to taste and enjoy everything. Was one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. My son (15) wants to be a chef and he really enjoyed the class- said it was his favourite part of our whole trip. Thanks Renee and family for a great experience and time xx

Amazing Srilanka Experience - Very family and kids friendly cooking class where you learn Srilanka culture and food. Started from smooth hotel transfer, showing us local village, letting our girls to have ice cream on the way. Cooking class venue is very cozy in the mountain. The chef couple showed us locally grown fresh vegetable which they bought from market and many different kinds of spices. My children are 8 and 6. At first they were a little shy and afraid of trying, but the couple were super nice and gently showed us how to cut vegetables, grade coconuts, crack the coconuts…we made many kinds of curries!!! We learnt so much of srilankan food. We made 8-9 different curries in about 1.5hr. Which was true magic. My children didn’t eat much vegetables or spices, but they enjoyed and loved the curry they cooked. Thank you so much for wonderful experience.

Heart and belly is full - We're so greatful for this incredible culinary experience. Ranees and his wife showed us how to make over ten different srilankan dishes, and each and every one of them were SO good. We can't wait to use the recepies when we get back to our country. Also: Mostly we're thankful for Ranees and his familys kindness. They are such a loving family and made us feel at home during our cooking class. Both our heart and belly is full ❤️

Local Sri Lankan food - great experience - This was the highlight of my Kandy stay. There were plenty of dishes (13 total). The food was all fresh and delicious. Dahl and Beetroot curries were my favourite! Even washed it down with a beer. We got all the recipes so we can practice back home. The family were also so welcoming and lovely. We were given tips about Sri Lanka that were very helpful. If you are in Kandy, this is a must do! 10/10 would recommend 👌🏾
