Great experience with TikalVIPTours and Elmer! - Elmer was a great guide! He has broad knowledge about Mayan archeology and history, showed us all aspects of the magnificence of Tikal. He’s also knowledgeable about the jungle, showed us unique animals and plants there. He made our trip much better than expectations!

Can;t recommend this enough for a simple transfer to Tikal if you don't want a guide - Driver was excellent - really friendly, good English and so accommodating - completely flexible on timing and gave as much time as we wanted at Tikal with zero pressure. Arrived well before our departure time and was waiting in the cafe area for us waiting to take us back whenever we wanted. He even helped fast-track us through the entrance bypassing a big tour group. If you're just looking for a transfer and don't want a guide (like us) for the ruins, then i'd highly recommend using this service. Decent price and its a private transfer so you can go and leave when you want with no hanging around. A shared transfer may be slightly cheaper - not by much though i don't reckon - and its defo worth it.

5 stars for the service - Friendly, knowledgeable, and timely driver. My family and I went from Flores to Tikal starting at 5 am. The van was in excellent condition with great AC.

highly recommended for families or small groups looking for flexibilty - Highly recommended for family or small groups. It was a brand new van. Elmer and Sergio were very professional, courteous and prompt in communication. They pick you up from flores or your hotel and take you to Tikal. You have to buy your own tickets at park (expect a line/delay) or online earlier (recommended). You can opt for a guide at the park (extra cost). Sergio acted as our guide as well. He is a licensed guide, proficient in spanish, can converse in English as well. Things to keep in mind. Park entry fee and guide services are not included( as stated in viator) as part of this tour. We asked Sergio to take us for a late lunch on our way back and he obliged as well.

Amazing guide and trip - The tour was simply fantastic. We left early to get ahead of the busy crowds. The van was new and very clean. Elmer our guide was one of the best I have ever experienced. He had great knowledge and was very accommodating. This trip had been a bucket list event for me for several year. It simply couldn't have gone better. Tikal is simply magnificent!!!
