Autovia - never again - Horrible experience altogether, the check out condition of the car not done properly, we found another 2 damages to add on list, but the check in was more than FORENSIC, including finally finding a small red mark on the tyre and a tiny chip, quasi impossible to see with a naked eye on the windscreen. Not responsible for either, but alas as barely visible we failed to spot them when taking the car out in a dark covered airport parking and add to the other , "unnoticed" by Autovia staff, damages. The person doing the contract spent 30 minutes trying to make us pay €140 for an extra insurance, we declined having excess insurance already but now I understand how they make the money - pay insurance extra or pay for damages as cars are not checked properly by them when taken out but are checked at length for the smallest thing when brought back. Charged €240 despite contesting with their customer service and supplying the proof of the car's condition not having been checked properly before we took it (rental for 48 hours and the car was parked securely in the garden most of this time). They also included immediately in their first letter the advice for me to claim against my excess insurance !! Not trustworthy.
