Awesome place to visit in progresso - I loved the amazing service and the beautiful beach. The food was delicious as well as unlimited margaritas and beer.

Best beach club! - Gabriel was the best server! Accommodations were amazing. Amazing pool. Food was delicious! We had two smaller children with us and they loved the pool.

Not worth the trip... false advertisement - This is a pretty place but not worth the price we paid. It's advertised as a 5 hour excursion but when you get there, it changes to only 3 hours!! And I do mean 3 hours because they do approach you to tell you your time is up!! The food was good. Beer was limited to only one brand, Del Sol. Mixed frinks were good. Service was very slow. It's also advertised as a private beach but it's not. It's open to anyone. Transportation to get there is another story. They do provide transportation but not from the port. You have to take the Downtown Shuttle from the port and then search, and I do mean search, for your ride to the destination. Ours was parked behind the bus depot on the street. Since the downtown shuttle was a nightmare to get on and after we waited for over an hour in the heat, we decided to rent a minivan to get back to port. This was an eye opening experience.

It’s a scam - After we were at the beach which we did enjoy, we asked about the buffet as it mentioned in the all inclusive but no one knew any thing about buffet and we were directed to the Spacatta beach club right behind us. We went in But there was no Buffett. We were given a menu to order from which we were told we would need to pay for. After exhausting efforts the waiter came and took all of our dinnerware including plates and silverware and glasses. Almost embarrassing experience. We’re we’re brought a 5x7 menu with 3 things to pick from. My ham and chees was fine. Service was not. This experience was a joke. A rip off. Pretty sure this excursion was a scam. Nothing was all inclusive except the beach. And the beach is free to anyone.

Bad experience - Everything isn’t what they said it’s a scam and rip off Chris was on vacation Waiting on a refund because was told it was all inclusive but wasn’t me and family went back to the ship worst excursion and port ever

I wouldn't go back if it was free. - Nothing like the advertisement. We are working at getting our money back. There are so many better small places along the water that are cheaper than $180 USD for two people, even with the "All inclusive". It is not all inclusive as they do not have kayaks and the servers were very rude. I recommend Progreso and the beach, but not Scappatta.

Trash - I want my money back! This place was trash. Looks nothing like the pictures. Guy was supposed to show up to talk to me and didn’t. Transportation didn’t show up. Lady that took us back was rude.

Waste of time and money.. - Don't waste your money. Their is no beach beyond the loungers ,they were stacking sandbags while we were there to the point that you had to climb over them to get to the water. They bring you a drink in an 8 oz plastic tumbler . The food was not appetizing at all and they allowed constant vendors pestering you while you are trying to enjoy your day.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - Terrible experience. The pictures online nothing like the place. We stayed 10 minutes and left. The glass were all dirty.

Spent 20 minutes there and left - Nothing like advertised at all! The place is a trash pit. Not big, pool is cloudy dirty, trash just outside of the rope barricade. There was a lady next to the ropes beating the sh*t out of her dog. Continued hitting it in the head for barking:( Drinks were no good, glasses were filthy. Looking for refund!!!!!!
