Great Time!!!!! - Great time! Jesus is amazing, knowledgeable and fantastic! Each stop was great…last stop at the beach house with the food amazing and incredible. I highly recommend!!!!!!

We love visiting progreso Mexico, A rich experience - We booked a private tour while on vacation though disney magic cruise. We were met by Jesus our tour guide. I have to say he made the tour fun for us. He took us to 5 places in progreso. we did swimming (beware of mosquitoes), saw the raccoons, visited the mayan temple, salt flats and beach house. I took my wife and 2 young boys. We had a blast!!! I appreciate Jesus for respecting our wishes not to take our family pictures. That meant a lot. The food was authentic rich mexican food and drinks. The beach house was clean, next to the beach. Jesus took his time to explain the rich history of progreso to us and how the Mayans lived. We felt very safe and well taken care of. The staff at the beach house were very cordial and nice. It was our first time here and I definitely recommend this company. we didn’t book through disney, but directly with sergio tours. They are the best. Jesus was very patient and never rushed us. if you planning to use sergio tours. Don’t hesitate you will love it. we came from the US and love it. If you love leaning about history of Mexico and see natural wild life and culture. It’s a must see. Highly recommend it.

Great Tour and Guide!! - Jesus was our amazing guide for our tour. He messaged ahead of time to set up our pick up time at our Chelem rental. We loved the places we stopped in the tour. Jesus was very informative and personable. We highly recommend the tour!

Great tacos better guide - Great tour. The tacos from the lady in the traditional dress at the salt flats were amazing. Best of all was our tour guide Jesus Santos who was very informative throughout the tour and introduced us to some of the best shrimp tacos we've ever had by the end of the tour. 10/10 would recommend

4 in 1 tour - We booked the 4 in 1 tour. Unfortunately, the weather did not let us go to the cenotes, but the rest of the tour was great! Uvaldo, our guide, was so full of knowledge and interesting facts. We weaved around the bigger cruise groups so never got too crowded. My sister and I agreed that we would come back and definitely ask for Uvaldo again!

Excellent Progreso Experience - Jesus was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and told us a lot of information at each site we visited. I would definitely recommend Sergio’s For your excursion experience.

This day was the highlight of our Carnival cruise! - My wife and I took her father and uncle on Sergio's Tours 4 in 1 Cenotes, flamingos, salt flats and Mayan site excursion, booked thru Trip Advisor. We arrived in Progreso on Carnival Valor. Jesus, our tour guide, arrived promptly to pick us up in a very clean tour van, then drove us to the ecological park, where we arrived before the crowded tours from Carnival. We had a short boat ride across a river to a short hike in the jungle, where we swam in a beautiful cenote! We were surrounded by nature, and saw raccoons and South American coati! Next was a short drive to see flamingos, then a 20 minute ride to Salt ponds. Jesus explained how salt is gathered today just as the Mayans did hundreds of years ago! We sampled hand made tacos there, which were excellent! Then we toured the numerous Mayan ruins, where Jesus described the life of the Mayans at that time period. Back in Progreso, he took us to a local restaurant for excellent shrimp tacos, then had us back to the cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. We had a great time on the tour, which was easily the high point of our cruise!

Great food and service - This was a very enlightening excusion. I wish the flamingos has cooperated and been closer for viewing but it was great to see them in their natural habitat. The salt flats and the tacos there were great. We especially liked the mayan ruins. We got to see all this in about 4 hours.

Research before committing - This tour wasn’t what we had expected! Highlights and the low ones - the pickup was not on time but the tour bus was clean, air conditioned and large enough for 15 people. We arrived at the cenotes and raccoon ecological preserve and enjoyed the cenotes cool water. Our tour guide gave us ample time to try all 3 cenotes. The trip to the salt pond was quite far but upon arrival - it was closed. On to the ruins, we were given a quick overview of the history and 30 mins to wander around. The ruins were interesting! back on the bus to the flamingoes. In my opinion, pulling into an OXO parking lot to view the flamingoes was a let down. I enjoyed eating the treats from OXO and the bakery next door. The bus then took us across town to this “beach resort” that was advertised to have buffet lunch and drinks, but upon arrival - the place didn’t look like a resort and the problem was - we had to pay for our own amenities and catch our own transport back to the port. Traffic was heavy so we turned it down for fear of missing our embarkation time. My $$$ rate was expensive for what we experienced. For Progresso - do your research first.

Relaxing and Interesting - Not the most exciting tour, but it was laid back and interesting. Flamingos were way to far away to actually view. Salt flats have an interesting history. If you are going to purchase this tour, do It directly through Sergio’s. For the same price, you get the 5 in 1, which includes a free Mexican buffet. Others in our same tour received this, while we had to pay for ours. That was annoying since we paid the same amount, then had to pay extra.
