After completing paperwork on arrival, which will include a medical questionnaire and risk and liability statement, it is time to assemble your equipment and try on suits, boots and mask.
Between us we will decide which dive site is most suitable and, after a dive briefing, we will depart for the dive.

Upon returning to the dive centre refreshments will be served, log books will be completed and any photos that were taken during the dive can be viewed.

Local Dive Sites

Green Bay - Lovely dive with easy entry/exit. Perfect for beginners and for refresh dives, with lots of life to see. Max. depth 12m

Green Bay 2 - This dive site is great for Open Water divers and with the large cave at 12-17m.

DeCosta Bay - Ideal for Open Water with max. depth of 13m. Good chance to see turtles here.

Crystal Cove - Nice dive with max depth 15m and a great chance to see moray eels and octopus.

Kaliva - Easy entry, shallow start with a max depth of 16m.

Konnos Point - Spectacular underwater topography. Depth 12m to 40m

The Caves - Beautiful underwater caverns and tunnels, max. depth 15m

DIVING FOR LICENSED/CERTIFIED DIVERS

We frequently conduct dives in the vicinity of Protaras and Cape Greko. These diving spots offer top-notch conditions with clear visibility reaching up to 30 metres. Generally, the sea remains serene and currents are insignificant, if present.

Our crowd’s favorite diving site is Green Bay, a very short distance away from our Poseidon diving center. This location is perfect for both Discover Scuba divers as well as certified divers, particularly if you have not dived recently. Easy entry and exit at Green Bay make it an ideal choice for those who prefer not to climb rocks for water access.

Unforgettable experience - An unforgettable family experience at the Poseidon Dive Center in Protaras! We have done several dives, including three to get our Open Water certification, and four baptisms, including for our youngest member of 10 years. The team composed of Gab, Val and Luciana was extraordinary: a perfect accompaniment, always with kindness, kindness and immense patience. Thanks to them, we felt totally confident throughout this adventure. Many thanks to the whole team for these magical moments underwater!

Excellent guided fun dives - We went for a couple of fun dives with Chris. He was friendly, professional and a very conscientious DM. Very thorough pre dive checks, which is appreciated. Chris showed us some incredible Sea Horses and will remember these wonderful dives. Thank you to all at Poseidon it’s a great dive centre and we hope to return again soon.

A truly amazing experience! - I took the open water course at Poseidon dive center, which can only be described as a wonderful experience! Very kind, professional and helpful instructors! During the time I took my open water certificate Gabriel was my instructor. I felt very safe and relaxed at all times knowing I could get the help I wanted/needed beneath the surface! I was the only one taking my certificate with Gabriel which was a big plus for me since it made me feel even more safe. Gabriel was everything I would want my diving instructor to be. Very nice divesites with the variation in both surroundings and depth as well as different types of shores you would want when learning to dive. I celebrated my newly taken certificate by two additional dives with another instructor, Christophe . Christophe was also a great guide who I highly recommend if you want to get the most out of your dives! Overall if I could give more than 5/5 I would, and I will definitely be revisiting Poseidon Dive center to explore the depths of Cyprus again!

Amazing experience - I did two dives with Lucianna and this was among the best diving experiences I’ve ever had. She took so much time to show me around and even created a personal video of our dives. We’ve seen a sea turtle, sea horses and plenty of other fishes. It was truly amazing, I can definitely recommend this diving school!

Amazingly friendly and professional - At first I was a bit worried that with almost only 5 star reviews they might be fake, but after going on a dive with Lucianna I understand why they have so many great reviews. I did two fun dives as Open Water Diver with her, and honestly it was great. The level of friendliness and patience, combined with all the necessary professionality to safely dive was a pleasure.

Amazing two dives - I came here June 2023 I did a DSD loved it so much I did a second DSD, left the holiday went back to the UK decided to learn to scuba and became totally addicted to this sport. Gabs are Val are so supportive and recently luc and Andy have joined the team and they are so supportive as well. I did two dives with luc and loved every second of it, so kind so understanding so informative of what's going on helping you become a better diver. 100% book with these guys you won't regret it
