Nice trip to see seaturtles - It was a pleasure to participate to this trip. It was very intresting to hear about more seaturtles and we actually saw seaturtles Wallace and Bailey. Luca picked us up from our hotel and made sure everything was okay. He also took pictures. We had a nice snorkeling moment and after that we went to eat pizza. And he also showed us the database of seaturtles and how it works. I recommend this trip!

Exciting adventure - Me and my girlfriend decided wanted to do something funny and exciting on our holiday. Neither of us had gone snorkling before. I myself am afraid of everything under water, so it was a tough choice to make. But i had read reviews on this trip, and i felt a little more safe knowing how well educated the staff was. First we got picked up at our hotel, and that was very nice of them because out hotel wasn't originally listet as a hotel they did pick-ups on. When we got there we got a tour of the workplace, followed by a presentation on turtles and the work they were doing. It was very educational and interesting. What they are doing are very amazing. Next we got the needed equipment since we didn't have any our self. We drove to the snorkling spot. Out guide were always close if we needed help with anything. We got to see two turltes, it was a very cool experience. We finished the trip with some pizza, and we got to learn how they identified the turtles. We had seen the turltes Wallace and Bailey :D

Fantastic afternoon snorkelling and turtle spotting with Luca and Chiara. - We had a wonderful afternoon learning about turtles and meeting Wallace (one of the local turtles). Our instructors Chiara and Luca were fantastic. They were both very knowledgeable and well qualified marine biologists. We learned a lot about how to recognise different turtles, what they eat, the different types of turtle, how human behaviour is affecting turtles and how we can help to protect them before taking a swim out from the coast to try and spot some in the wild. (Turtles are not tagged so, as with all real wildlife encounters, meeting them is not guaranteed, but the instructors know their favourite hangouts). We met Wallace on our trip - A curious green sea turtle -which was a wonderful experience and Luca was able to capture some great pictures of our encounter to preserve the memories, which he and Chiara shared with us over a delicious pizza in a local restaurant. It was my birthday and the team organised birthday candles for me which made the day even more special. One of our favourite things about this experience was knowing that we would be in the care of marine biologists and that animal welfare would be a top priority. Some guides will bait the turtles by sprinkling lettuce on the surface. This practice is unsafe for the turtles, putting them more at risk of boat accidents and should be discouraged. By booking this tour you have a chance to see the turtles in a more responsible way, knowing that both you and the turtles are in safe hands.

Fantasticly organized and performed snorkeling trip - This snorkeling trip is powered by Cyprus Diving Center - a crew of multi languaged young people knowing what they are doing. The booking could be performed without any problems and after arriving we were shown around the Diving Center. After that, Luca, our guide, professional diver and studied marine biologist, gave us a great overview of the turtles' world. Everything started with a highly interesting 30 minute presentation packed with information about turtles, their habitat and many more. After that we received our professional snorkeling equipment and got introduced to it. Then, after a five minute car ride, the arrived at Green Bay, our snorkeling area. Green Bay is known for the turtles, a fantastic snorkling area with a nice underwater topology, many fish, ancient looking columns and ... turtles. It didn't take long and then we found them: the turtles. It was a great experience to see these majestic animals within their natural habitat. There was no pushing or hurrying - we spent a very long time together Luca who explained everything. After returning to the Diving Center we were invited to a fantastic local restaurant where we had an amazingly good tasting stove oven pizza and some drinks. We will never forget this experience. Thanks for your great hospitality, the preparations for this trip and the wonderful hours that we could spend with you. We did this snorkeling tour as a family with our two girls aged 9 and 11.

Seeing green sea turtle with Rose 28 July 2024 - We got to see a green sea turtle up close, although it was being pursued by about 4 tourists. We expected to have more than 45 minutes in the water. Much of our time was spent in the dive center learning about the sea turtle protection program - a noble endeavor—but longer than expected.

Disappointing - I must honestly say that I am very disappointed. According to the description, the trip should have been with marine biologists or Turtle experts. Furthermore, a max. Group size of 4 people promised. There were six of us and the two young ladies were unfortunately not very experienced. They could not provide any information about fish and the turtles and what we saw underwater was never explained. The powerpoint for info about turtles at the dive center has been leaned down and has not technically worked well. Although I asked for it 3 times a snorkel was forgotten for me - the leader of the group then gave me hers. Which she had none on. At no point was my 10-year-old daughter looked at or asked how well she could swim. The pace was very high and the group was rushed through a very full bay - which we had already visited the day before. Luckily she is a very good swimmer. With other children, I could imagine it difficult. I had the impression of the description that we would go somewhere special, possibly even with a boat. That we would not see turtles in such a crowded place was clear. The description also says something about a diploma. In addition, I find the price 75 € per person - even for my 10-year-old daughter - much too high. There was no option for children. If possible, I'd like my money back. We were neither properly welcomed nor farewelled. I feel really ripped off on a trip like this. The pictures sent via link were unfortunately very bad and blurry. They were, in my opinion, not sorted out. Unfortunately, all useless. What a shame! I hope Cyprus Diving Centre can see this as a constructive criticism that other guests have a better experience.
